Darvex.com has only a 20$ difference on the 1400 up to the 1800. I can scrounge that shit up from my couch and batts are deffinetly something you dont want to go cheap on. So I think that 40 bucks in the long run would save you money, because it'll keep your voltage higher with less drops. Ergo safer amps

Well, I wouldn't recommend much power. It rattles like a bish. Everyday it seems like a new rattle is appearing. It's a nice car but it's not built for any type of beat. I have had to duct tape my headliner and mat the inside of my headliner near the front. As of right now it sounds really good but sometimes it rattles. But do what you want, if you're willing to put a lot of mat in it then it's a good choice. good luck and i'm looking foward to the build if you do it.
