For a BTL, your gonna need atleast an upgraded alt, either a real nice battery up front like a Powermaster d3400 or a battery or two in the rear. 1/0 wire, Big 3 upgrade. Amp needs to be about 2000-3000 watts RMS. and a 15" btl takes about a 4-6cuft box Running that kind of power you want to make sure you're electrical is on par before anything else.

The recommended airspac for a Fi BTL 12 is 1.75cuft-3ucft. I know for fact that it does just fine in 2.25 cuft

I've ran just about every deck brand out there, mostly the higher end. And while I agree eclipse do have great sounding units, my best experience has been with a few select models of alpine and imo those are much better than the eclipse ive ran. I've even had the opportunity to play with the alpine f1 series h/u which is a totally different ballpark and is a very very very expensive headunit. On topic - for the features listed above, I'd go with the alpine, great bang for your buck for a low end deck.

Well anymore at a minimum you need 1gb of memory but 2gb-3gb is beginning to be the new standard. The video card is also worth nothing on that machine and everything else is what you'd expect with a basic no frills laptop.
