Just out of curiosity. How much did it cost you, where did you get it, and was it new used or refurbed?

My setup for just the subs and amp ( 2 new bl15s and refurb saz-1500d ) came to about $1025. Just out of curriosity what are the specs on that amp. Or the model number and Ill just look it up.

I just bought two bl15s last month. I would take off the gaskets and punch the holes with like an ice pick or soething from the other side. I would try and be carefull not to push too hard. I only wanted to pull up as little of the surrounding glue that holds the cones down as possible. My 15s beat man and there only on a saz-1500d. Your going to love them. At first I was thinking wow i could buy 8 kicker cvr12s and run them for that price. Just rememeber though. Quality over quanity.

You can do what I did. Go to advance and ask them for there battery cable. Its a 2/0 awg wire for 1.70 a ft. I got 50ft fro like $80 or so and its some fat ass wire. Thats what Im using in my ride right now. Fills the knukoncept terminal block 0awg whole almost copmpletly.

Stinger is good. I would price/product shop around localy before ordering offline. Just an imput.

I also agree about the kicker wire. Iv also heard real good things about there rcas.

Ok guys. I got a wild hair up my ass. I have some left over mdf chillin in the garage with some older 4 inch pvc ports. I gonna take one of my bl 15s out hook her up to my 1500d at .5 ohms and build a one note wonder box. My sub has all the extra add on shit except for the extreme leads. I figure Ill do a sub forward ports back design using 2 4" ports extending outside the box with about 3cubes at 45hz. This is my first true box to hit some high numbers. Just kinda want to see what I can do with it. Any input is greatly appreciated. Good and bad. Its going into the ford escape with the back seat layed down. Thanks guyz.

Thats exactly what car audio forums are for. We just hate to see some one unexperienced jump the gun on something and burn down $600+ subs (2 bls) or worse, you car. all the coils are connected together hence the negative of one coil running to the posative of the other. There right. If you havnt learned this by 600+ posts you shouldnt do bls and 2200 rms yet. Just my 0.02.
