This sub was built for 3K daily. 3 spiders, large gauge flat copper coil. Larger gauge than a DD99Z. Heavy duty paper cone. Of course any sub at that level of power will take a beating, but it did fine for me.

That sub will do well in both SPL and daily. I was doing 153s in a daily tuned box. Will do well in anything from 1.75 cubes for high tuned SPL, to 2.5 cubes for low tuned daily. Go with a port any where from 28 sq inches for daily to 60 sq inches for SPL at no longer than 14 inches and no shorter than 8 inches. The sub likes to play in the 35 - 50 hz range for peaks, but will go down to 20 hz if tuned low enough

port may not load properly. Its not wise to have the sub baffle and port baffle parallel like that. They should be off axis (perpendicular)

lol, no that has nothing to do with it at all. It has to do with how the output stages of the amps are designed. Amps have to be specifically designed to beable to strap together. And I dont believe any Home Audio amp out there has been designed for this. There is no need as it is something only done in car audio where extreme power is needed for competition. Also, when done in a car audio application, reliability is decreased and distortion can be increased. And with todays amps exceeding the 15k mark. Its not really something that needs to be done unless you are competing in SPL.

Oh its home audio. No you cannot hook up 2 amps to 1 coil. You wouldnt want to anyway in home audio. If you wanted to add more power, just look at a larger amp.

Nope different Durango. This one is an 05. We just started prepping and designing this one. And started filming it for the TV Show. so pics cant be released until the TV show is finished filming. Gonna try and debut it at a big dB Drag show in upstate NY in September. Bass race 159.9 with rear seats still in is the goal.

He does, its true, lol But He will have one kickass Durango in a few months. Rear wall with 6 15" T3 Audio TSS and possibly 30,000w of power on tap. Goal to finish is September.

There really is no best for your personal setup. I can tell you that 6 15" T3 TSS would pound all day with up to 3kw to each sub. But there are other subs that can do that also. T3 TSS DC LVL 5 Fi BTL

thank you. It is a dual mono block amp. There are 2 5000w boards in one heat sink. Each 5000w board has 2 power and ground inputs.
