I may be selling him my bl 12 in a 2.5 cube box @ 32 hz (we have the same amp T-1500-1bd) and I say itll be louder with a lets say 1.75-2 cube box @ 35-40 hz, but I love the lows too much so I build it @ 32 hz. Anyway so 1500+ watts to a Fi BL 12" in a 1.75-2 cube box > 2.5 cubes @ 32 hz. Thanks (I just always heard that "overpowering" in a smaller box yeilds more output)

1st of all if at all possible, I would try to build you own or find someone locally who will build it for a little $$ because those pre fabs never lets a sub get to its potential imo. I build my own box for my 12" Fi BL w/ 2.5 cubes @ 32 hz after displacments and I hit a 142.1 out of the trunk pretty much out of the box. Idk what its at now all broken in. Double Baffle the box, Resin it, and cloth it. take your time and do It right and it'll come out a lot better than one of those pre fabs.

I mean, my car is stock. no auto locks windows, anything like that. Idk if I have a security system or anything. I just dont understand how an alarm plays into the car, because If i dont have an alarm then how does that alarm know when to go off? Like if they break a window or try to break in or something, how does the alarm know when to go off? I just dont want to buy this alarm and install it and it not work lke its supposed to. SO BOLD = ? Well, my dad works for the local park district and they do tons of events with tons of locations, as long as we are allowed to be there we can be @ any one of these locations as long as they're not being used.

If it werent for all the people I know in this town complaining about not having these type of chill shows, then I would want to do one for free. But Its not like its going to be a rediculus amount like 25-30 bucks. Prob 15 and 10 if you have that little slip signed by an installer. I want everyone to have a good time, but there will be some type of reward for 1st place, and food. I just know that this town needs another car show type deal, since one of out anual ones stopped last year. Used to get 100's of cars just taking up parking lots, but then the mic broke and nothing has happened since. Theres 100,000 people in this College town and Im sure some of them, even a tiny want to have a place where they can go to hang out and look at some cool ass cars.

Well, my dad, my friend (slapuho on here) and I are thinking about buying a termlab in order to host shows and make some money doing it. Enough to pay for the trophies and the termlab eventually. These wont be sanctioned events, just a place to come chill and compete for 1st place. We will have classes, and in order to get as big a turnout as possible, and to help you our local shops (the good ones at least) I will be talking to them about, them giving out cards that will take 5$ off the admission to the show if they get their car worked on there. It will be getting signed by an installer, and only one per person. We will give some $ back to the store for doing that. Anyway, so if we have an area with no people for a while and were allowed to be there, is there any reason why we cant just host our own shows with a termlab? I wanna make some $$$ and there just arent enough around here, and no shops have one (that works anyway), and I am going to try to get them involved and just really wanna walk away with maybe 100 bucks per person for a days work + fun. Sry for the paragraph but I want to explain the situation, does anyone do this? AND may charge people for metering/bass racing, stuff like that.

Never even looked into these but I feel I need to. I just want a basic 2 way alarm, (no keyless entry, no trunk pop, no remote start, unless those come with it and dont need to be hooked up for the alarm to work) just an alarm, something to scare someone off and alert me. I have the fi Bl 12" in a box @ 32 hz on 1750 watts, and it doesnt get smelly and hits the lows amazingly. I havent heard the Lvl4, but I built and installed a system with a lvl 4 xl and it sounds really good. But imo, it should be between the xl and bl, so imo the bl.

Well the heat shrink tubing keeps that braided sleeving from moving, so yea just get some 3/4" stuff from darvex.com

I hated the KLMX wire, it is such a bitch to work with, however the hyper flex cable is the shit, I love it. Hella ease of instalation. The Tsunami is nice, but between the Flex n Tsunami I would go flex.

I have thrown 1750+ watts @ mine from the get go, and the only differnece is that it plays lower, but it never smelled, or anything like that.
