    are you using a stock radio because my buddy truck does that same thing when he slows down and its something to do with the wireing behind the radio back in the very back wires

    i just put in 2 12in spl splw which are the same thing as the mofo and there one of the better subs i been around your got to build a good box for them to sound good and i also did 2 15in spl splw in a blazer on a 1000 watt earthquake amp and its soooooooo loud i calling fail one the installed because i never had any problem with em and there one of my favorite

    i would call dd up and ask or go to a local dealer but call dd first and i know you said hushmat and dynmat but i love second skin plus its a little thicker but never herded any problems with any of the companys
