Not to sound like a ass, but I never said I couldn't afford it, just wondered how much a new one would cost, OR how to fix it! Once again....not being a ass about it, and it IS serious, this I know, if it wasn't, I wouldn't have asked for advice. Money isn't a big thing, it's more of a time thing!! Here is a pic, its the best I could get! It's a tight fit between the tank and the frame, if I WAS to try and fix it, I'd have to drop the tank to get to where it's leaking!

Do they make some for plastic, more importantly, for gas tanks??

Anybody have a good idea/product for fixing a gas tank? I have a 2000 Chevy Tahoe, and I noticed a strong smell of gas today after i filled up. When I got to the house, I checked the cap, it was fine, then I got under it to take a look. It looks as if it is leaking from the top side of the tank. (its on the side, towards the top, next to the frame.) Any advise would be great!

Whats the car, how bigs the sunroof, and how big of a screen????
