  1. Come on Chicken don't back out on a project this awesome, it's never been done before and blows the water out of anything I've seen and the quality of craftsmanship is amazing, if it's any consolation of this build..
  2. Like it a lot, I'd do the same to my XJ if it didn't just sit around waiting to be wheeled. But very nice BTL and liking the way it looks!
  3. Wow nice work, I think you could kill someone if you put their head over that port hahaha
  4. It works on pretty much any site, a list of sites it works on is here: http://www.vidohe.com/sites.php?sort=interest&page=none and you can download and install it from here: http://www.downloadhelper.net/
  5. Not sure of better places to get music videos but for Firefox there's an "Add-on" called DownloadHelper, go to a video, make sure it's loaded all the way then click the arrow next to the yellow blue red trash and click that file name and it will download for ya.
  6. Haha I know what you need man just some cheap-o speakers, go on Craig's list and just look for anyone selling some speaker towers locally and ask them if they work, check to make sure they're not too torn up and you'll be good to go, everyone here wants you to make your shop sound like a concert, not a bad thing...but probably not what you want.
  7. Definitely going to take a good look at them and make a decision soon, how does one of those compare to a Fi 15" SSD or Q which are in the price range of those?
  8. hahaha I know I shouldn't be cheapin out but it's just my rock crawler and get's driven once maybe twice a month and I think a little bass would be nice. I'll take a look at those, they're in the price range and a possibility
  9. I'm lookin around 200 bucks for the sub....how much is the DD?
  10. I'm looking for something affordable/good sounding to throw in my Jeep Cherokee (it's a second car/rock crawler so it doesn't have to be perfect..) but I have a Hifonics TXi1508D laying around so ideally I'm looking to throw 1 15" back there with it. I thought I'd look for some recommendations since I don't have much knowledge of 15's that are good, but I don't wanna drop the money for Fi/RE/AA subs. Also I'm in a bit of a space crunch after 31" spare/hi-lift/tool box go back there. Basically any subs out there that will sound decent with that amp.
  11. I wanna do them still to everyone that thinks I've just abandoned the project, during the holidays though I had some unexpected expenses so that's where the money went for them. Hopefully I'll be able to get the money and get the new speakers and amp sometime soon...
  12. Hahaha some of those kids look like they just want their toy back and to not be so loud. If I ever get some youngins I'll hook them up right.
  13. Tricky, what I found from direct wholesale is this "This vehicle has 2 door trigger wires, the DRIVERS DOOR is a TAN (-) PURPLE plug, B4 and ALL OTHER doors BLUE/WHITE (-) LIGHT BLUE plug, Pin B11 at the BCM use both wires and DIODE ISOLATE when connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM" along with this diagram: http://64.85.6.129/extrainfo/diagrams/2650...N%20CIRCUIT.pdf any other information can be found http://www.directwholesale.net/diagrams/diagrams.asp?link=DW. Good luck and good choice on alarm!
  14. If you're gonna buy from dealer cost car audio just order one, they'll send the rest free of charge and never notice that's what they did on an amp I ordered for a friend at least
  15. My kinda truck right there. Got height and capability not like all the other trucks just going for looks and never gonna see dirt.
  16. Well that's good for anything with coil's front and back if you got a 4 runner you've got IFS in the front and coil in the back I believe. Here's something that will get you about 2.5 inches of lift if you're really only going for larger tires/rims and may be in your budget. http://www.jackit.com/toyota/4runner.htm#1
  17. Good stuff, just ordered an amp for a friend from there, showed up timely half what it cost in town.
  18. I've already got two layers of dynamat xtreme throughout the car, so deadening shouldn't be too big of a problem and I realized if I'm gonna do the McIntosh components that I should probably pull my pioneer amp (PRS-A900) and upgrade to a McIntosh amp most likely a MCC404M, or I may take a look at those new JL amps but until I get a bit more money that pioneer will work fine. It's going into an Acura Tl so I do want it to sound good all around. Although I may not get the rear ones yet and do a 3sixty to tune everything up to sound good for me, worry about passengers later.
  19. Yeah I'm lookin to put some "Christmas Bonus" money into components so it's a choice between those McIntosh, Boston SPZ60's, or Focal 165 KF's. I am partial to McIntosh though cause of their fantastic reputation.
  20. I'm looking to upgrade the 4 component speakers (2 pairs) in my car and hook them up with a new amp. I know McIntosh makes great products for home audio but I'm wondering if anyone's ever heard any of their car audio stuff and how do you think it sounds? Here's the one's I'm looking at. http://mcintoshlabs.com/products/895.asp Also any components anyone recommends would be helpful too, thanks!
