  1. So far I only have subwoofers and a amplifier. The box design is being done by pwk designs. The box will be built by super steve. I will be running 2 e8v2d4s on a skar 800.1d. It has been a long time since I had any bump. So hopefully this'll last me a good while. With me working nights and going to college during the day. I could only afford a small build. I do plan on running a new battery up front, battery for the amp and the big 3. So here are the photos of the sub and amp. Quite impressive subwoofer. The amp looks good as well. Shout outs mike from carstereogiants for the subs. Thanks Kevin from Skar audio.
  2. I like just about anything really. My motto on a vehicle - if you keep up on the maintenance, it will last a long time. Budget, I guess 10k.
  3. I'm looking for a new vehicle. I am wanting a suv or truck. I also want to put in a system aswell, something that will "wang". What would be a good choice?
  4. Ok, so I'm about to get a vehicle. Narrowed it down to these vehicles. Audi A4 02-05 Magunum Deville 02-05 Explorer 00-up Tahoe/Yukon If I go a car, would a trunk be loud as a hatch/suv?
  5. Thanks for the replys. I had a buddy measure his dodge magnum cargo area. I can run a 40" L x 18" H x 20" D. That comes to 8.3cu.ft. Would I be better off fitting 2 12s into that or 2 15s fit sucessfully? The subs I am looking at buying RE XXX or Fi BTL. Yes they will have the right power and right electrical upgrades.
  6. what about just putting the subs and port forward? or like this? I can't tell if they ported the XXX or sealed them.
  7. sealed off from the trunk? having pictures of this?
  8. I'm looking at getting a new vehicle. A few choices are 2000-2005 deville, chrysler 300c or a dodge magnum. I am not familiar with trunks. I am looking at either RE XXX or FI BTLs. In a suv or hatch, I know subs up and port back. What about a trunk?
  9. In computing, the Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) is an application-layer Internet standard protocol used by local e-mail clients to retrieve e-mail from a remote server over a TCP/IP connection. POP3 and IMAP4 (Internet Message Access Protocol) are the two most prevalent Internet standard protocols for e-mail retrieval. Virtually all modern e-mail clients and servers support both.
  10. ICH5/ICH5R has a problem, where latchup damages part of the chip. The results are, Device Manager shows the USB ports, all in order and correct, but each USB port is "deaf". And the reason for it, is the power source feeding the I/O driver, burns out, leaving the physical layer of the USB port non-functional. +5V -----/ /--+ <--- broken power path | v +5V Physical Logic Block ------------ I/O driver --------- D+ Layer Works OK --------- D- Of GND Port When the lightning strikes, it can induce a transient on the physical layer, and damage it. So it is possible the port may have failed, because of damage to the +5V,D+,D-,GND spot. It is even possible the +5V path to the port is what failed, and you might want to check that a mouse lights up when plugged into the port. The port won't function, if the +5V on the connector is no longer working. Some of those are fuse protected (but the fuse is a Polyfuse type, which normally never needs replacement, and the fuse recovers after it cools off). If you purchased the exact same motherboard, you should be able to drop it into place and continue using it. Depending on what other devices are damaged in your computer. If the lightning strike is very close, the effect can be powerful enough to leave physical effects, like burn marks, charring, chips with lids blown off. But even a weaker strike, can still leave invisible effects. Another thought that occurs to me, is you could purchase a USB2 PCI card, and use that to get some USB ports. That won't necessarily help with editing the contents of the BIOS using a USB keyboard, but for other USB purposes, it would give you some working ports, without replacing the motherboard.

  12. What about a Stetsom 4k2d? http://www.stetsom.com.br/eng/DetalhesProd...425&cat=172
  13. I was wondering if I could do 4 subs on 1 amp. that would be a 1 ohm load I believe. Have two amps.... I think. LOL
  14. I decided to be a little different on my subwoofer approach. I want to run 8 DD 1508 subs. The subs come in single svc 4 ohm or dual 4 ohm. I think running the svc 4 ohm will be the better bet. I can run in 2 ohms. I just need a good quality amp that will run 4,000 watts at 2 ohm 1ch. With 4k I can give the subs 500 watts a piece. any help? or do them in .5 ohm?
  15. bingo! If it is reinstalling itself afterwards. It is more in likely a trojan. Your best bet is to run all those products in safe mode. You might be looking at reformatting your computer.
