  1. yeah thats what I thought but damn this guy wants me to ship the amp to canada and thats at least $100 through UPS. 2 18's on, for starters, 4,000 watts (1 amp) and then later down the road I can upgrade to better 18's and get another 4,000 watt amp. I've been looking at the Atomic APX 18" because there are a few good deals out right now.
  2. So I have just started getting into selling things online and was wondering if you guys had any tips. I mean theres a few obvious ones I already know but like... what do you use to tell how much shipping will cost? what reason would you not ship out of country? how do you package your items so you can insure they don't get ruined? those types of questions. Thanks, Kasey
  3. does he know how to paint plastic like on the chevy's since its so porous I feel like the paint won't sit in it right.
  4. you do realize its in the same section so theres no real need for the link
  5. that would be awesome. I want to get this done right the first time so it doesn't chip and look bad causing me to start over again.
  6. thats more for road noise. I guess it will make your speakers louder in the sense that now less noise is in your cabin. and thanks kyle that was the log I was talking about.
  7. you can always get helper bags that are rated up to half a ton. you can find them at like RV stores and they aren't too expensive
  8. the huge holes that you can stick your arm/hand through to get to the outer skin of the door. where the window track is. cover the most holes in your door that you can.
  9. yeah I see a lot more potential with that wall. I have 1 18" BL in a tahoe off 1,000 watts doing close to 146db keep the wall maybe just retune it
  10. this got stirred up the other night at lowes. this guy was sayin that you will be pitting the chrome and it will look horrible if you sandblast it. he said that your best bet is to get a drill with a wire brush and do it that way. what do you think? I really want to bust out the front end and get it all black. same with the plastic just sand it and get a smooth surface then paint it?
  11. he has a 3/5 DJM lowering kit IIRC and because of weight it is more like a 4/6 drop. before I drove the hoe he told me there is 1,000 pounds in the back so be cautious with the brakes but really if you add it up there is way more. there is no air ride that is the caddy although some tahoes have an air ride option that is for handling but Steve's is a 2 wheel drive EDIT: ninja edit on brand of lowering kit
  12. I bet it rides a shit load better now. hmm I guess justin really is meade jr he just took his beat out too. I never thought I would see the back of your hoe but the day has come

  19. hmm well if I thought it out which I normally don't I would have gotten some cheap ass suede that was in the bargain bin or something and tried at it and if didn't go well you can just rip that shit off or put the good stuff over it. good thing you have extra
  20. yeah suede is tricky but damn the final product looks good. its hard to cut the suede without it freying and stretching it doesn't really do much because if you stretch it on one side and want to stretch the other side it pulls from the side you just stretched. make sure you have it glued down and let it dry. the hardest part about suede is waiting otherwise your final product won't be pretty or you will be redoing other things. either that or just make sure you make a hole in the suede before you drill something.
  21. he could still need one... hopefully
  22. I've got a 9 cube box tuned to 31hz with my Fi BL 18" i'll sell for $350 or $300 for just the sub. price doesn't include shipping. PM if you are interested
