chances are those amps will not put out what they say. hell they don't even say how much they will put out on that site. as you get into car audio more your selection of product will be based on a number of things including customer service and who stands behind their product. Jacob at Sundown is great to deal with and he's on this forum so its not going to be hard to find a solution to any problems you have with your amp.

any reason why you wouldn't? very good amp and customer service. you should make up your decision by the end of the month because there is a Sundown Sale this month. I don't think you can beat the saz-1000d for that price :

I've been learning ever since I got here. some companies you could look at are Sundown, Rockford Fosgate, or Diablo Audio Technologies all those companies run at 1 ohm stable and put out more than they say so if you get the 1,000 watt line you will get a little more which will be perfect for 2 LVL 3's

get one big beefy guy and make sure to get those Dual 1 ohm so you can wire them to 1 ohm for the amp.

I'd say it all comes down to which manufactures feel confident in there subs and the audience they reach. kicker seems to be the entry level sub (excluding Steve Micks lol) so they are going to warn their customers so they can say "we told you so" when it blows early on. Fi seems to be for a little bit more advanced users (not in all cases lately) so they aren't going to worry as much. just my .02

"no highs, no lows, it must be Bose" lol I have the Bose 9 speaker setup in my Tahoe. it isn't bad... they aren't too harsh it feels balanced to me. if you cannot get your setup right away at the very least get yourself a new head unit. that is where your speakers will lack. for most Bose users including myself it was night and day. then if you get a little bit more I bought a $50 Clarion EQ that made my speakers actually come to life. I say get the Bose so you aren't stuck with a completely horrible factory system.

first time I tried tinting was on the back of my tahoe just before it got night time. its a huge window and you have to get in an awkward position to get it on and it was an autozone kit of 5% mine creased big time and when I tried fixing it I made it worse. then did the back 2 windows and got bubbles everywhere because again almost night time and then the passenger side 2nd door was a disaster so I stopped in the middle of the job and called my tint guy haha. glad to hear you have someone that will help you.

take your time it isn't easy stuff. make sure you get everything saturated with the spray you have and clean the window A LOT. good luck! and if it doesn't turn out good you can always know that your money will go to a good cause when you pay a professional to do it
