I know its a frequency lol I was typing too fast and didn't put bass in. RF has a different type of remote than others. I set my amp for less after taking in to consideration what you said. theres no way I can keep 14.4 on a stock alt. I also set my remote for the lowest setting since I don't boost any other frequency.

kind of but still honestly I would say between the combination of Rockford and Fi you shouldn't have problems with downloaded mp3's giving you clipping that will ruin anything unless of course you download slim thug boss of all bosses album.

itunes now has itunes plus that is supposed to be the bees knees. you aren't putting them at risk if you take into consideration the clipping and give your amp headroom so it doesn't reach that point.

I push 1500 watts on mine between 14 and 14.4 volts. we got the same options I think I just got bigger size. smelling them means that you are pushing them too hard and the glue will soon melt along with the coil... of course that is if you let it go for too long.

mine will also get warm from time to time. a lot of times its what song I play and which notes are in it and if the song possibly has clipping. you shouldn't be too worried if you don't smell them then you aren't pushing them too hard.

he tuned the gain with the "bass boost" up he said. besides that RF is different. its not a bass boost its a frequency booster. a little hot shouldn't matter as long as you are not continuously doing that. and are you still breaking your sub in?

tonight has proved to me that isolators are crap. I use one because I have a stock battery and a kinetik in the back. I was fixing a connection issue with my speaker on the drivers side so for music to play I had to have the key all the way turned so the headlights were on (turned them off) and air was blowing for there not to be an annoying beep. took me about 5 minutes and I go to pull it out of the driveway and it won't start. turns out the isolator didn't isolate my rear battery and drained my starter battery a night before the comp. you are running both kinetik in the front and back. the size is a little off but it won't put nearly as much strain on it as an isolator would. just don't play your music without the engine on which should rarely happen since you would want to show those alpines off nice choice in head unit and sorry for jacking your thread with my sob story tonight.

If any of you guys are in the Sacramento area call up Mike Richardson at Tint 2K and he will take care of you. He comes to your house and does the tint while you watch if you want. Did a fantastic job on my Tahoe and would definitely do it again if my tint ever bubbles or gets purple. That probably won't happen since he uses top of the line tint that has a lifetime warranty. His number is (916)501-2076. Real cool guy and will crack a few jokes with you. Also if you want custom tint work he is really good at doing like ghost images in the window of just about whatever you want.

powermaster>kinetik>batcap IMO I am running Kinetik's and they kick ass. I think they are around the same price as PowerMasters. check out the for sale thread though B Slaps Yo Momma is always sellin big batteries that are the same size as the HC2400 for cheaper though.
