    Sorry I forgot about this. Talked to ant and he said it wouldn't hold up well with stuff in the bed. I wanted to use the spectrum to help deaden the bed since this gonna be a blowthrough. Might still try it though because The box is literally gonna take up the entire bed so its not like there are gonna be tools and crap sliding around and beating it up.

    Yea that is an old myth that I'm guessing some poor kid made u years ago to make his buddies think his 10's were better than his buddy's 18's. I digress. Listen around to the people onhere and we can help you pick out a nice system. Any idea what subs you're going with yet?

    Steve that is absolutely sick!!! Thay paints gotta add at least 3-5 db's. I love the pearl so much that I'm getting it done on my truck when I get it repainted. Not the same color but pearl none the less. Gonna do blue base coat with silver pearl.

    Would be using it as a bedliner to cover the entire bed and as a box cover. Sorry for the confusion.

    How durable is the surface of the spectrum once it dries? Would it be durable enough to use as a bed liner?Doing a blowthrough and want my bed waterproofed and deadened.

    Ok then. so with 21's say 2.5? Again thanks to everyone who has helped so far.

    Well no term lab as of now.thats on the long list of future investments. Anyway got some good news today. finally found some 21" cones so Foreverbumpn will be building custom 21" recones for the baskets he has to go on hdc3 motors. I hate to ask but how do you know how big to make the sealed side? I know once I've got the sealed part I just use the 3:1 ratio. How would I determine the sealed side for 2 21's to get the design started?

    Yea I'm thinking about building big The first time so that I can just add 2x4's etc. to step down in size until I get it where I like it. Does that sound good?

    So the ported should be bigger than the sealed correct?

    How do you determine what the sealed and ported sides of a 4th order bandpass box? Also how do you know what tuning of the ported box should be ?

    Haven't heard back from ia yet but psi hasn't been able to get 21" parts really set o these just gotta find these.

    I'm working with forevrbumpn to build custom recones to go with some 21" bakets he has to fit my hdc3 motors. Ok guys. All that sands between me and my custom 21" subs is a set of 21" cones. I'll basicaly take anything as long as its still functional. Nobody I've found will sell them. Used or new cones as long as they are a matching pair.

    When you say you gt a 2 ohm sub do you mean dual 2 ohm vc or you will be wiring it to 2 ohm?

    I wouldn't mind having two of the motors to build a pair of 18's off of but all the other ones I come across are insanely expensive!
