  1. Damn dude that sucks! Fuck that dude for pretty much giving you his word and backing out, thats bullshit. I love explorer builds as I have one, so I good luck! I hope you get it all straightened out
  2. I don't really think you can compare the beymas to the ss. Those are like 150-8O if I remember correctly and that's a massive difference from 20-30 dollar tweets. I'm sure they would sound fine but he's going to need an xover for sure.
  3. I've been waiting for Kranny to respond haha I like the ap, does the job for me. I'm saving up for something better currently but with my shitty job its going to take some time plus its not a priority to me. Ill keep the ap until I can afford something better. Although it is quite the current hog for sure
  4. Yeah I do love my ap but a lot of people on here seem to hate it. I think its a better idea to stay with it too, gives me a better option at 1ohm when I upgrade. Thanks guys.
  5. I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this, my friend has a Hifonics BRZ1200.1 and wants to trade my audiopipe ap1500d for it. Would this be a good idea or not? As of right now I cant go down to 1ohm with my subs so I'm stuck at 2ohm's until i upgrade my subs, so I wouldn't be losing too much power at 2ohms. Anyone think this would be a good idea to trade?
  6. They did in another video they just glued those dustcaps onto the originals. They're Sonic Soundlabs subs. Yeah I read that on a comment. I haven't watched all the videos, I thought you guys would get a kick out of it, I didn't realize a lot of you knew who it was haha
  7. Well thanks for agreeing with me, in another video he blew one of the amps. His comments are dumb as hell too. I just thought it was funny enough to post haha
  8. So I found this on youtube, and he's claming 6400wrms on these two tens. He also says that SA's would fry on this setup. Is it just me or does something not sit right? 6400wrms seems like a lot on those subs, I found the specs for them here. Maybe its just me http://www.surrealinnovations.net/?page_id=238 Custom Drilled Vented 12 Spoke Aluminum Basket 10”, 12”, 15” (Custom Drilled Vented 6 Spoke Aluminum Basket on 18” Option) 2.3 Kilowatts RMS (2,300watt RMS) Amplifier Power Recommended Motor Weight – 23.13Kg (816oz/51bs) Available Dual 1 Ohms or Dual 2 Ohms Configurations Voice Coil: 76.2mm (3.0 inches) Internal Dimension (Not the Outer Diameter like the Majority of Manufacturers) Eight Layer Flat Wound Aluminum Wire Voice Coil Black Anodized Aluminum Forme Triple Stack High Energy Ferrite Magnets Multi-Layer High Performance Progressive Spyder for Musical and Strong Bass Multi-Layer Reinforced Non-Pressed Pulp Cone for a Natural Musical Sound Multi Layer Reinforced Paper Pulp Dust Cap Ultraviolet Conditioned Surround High Voltage Tinsel Leads Motor Dimensions- 220mm x 115mm (8.66” x 4.53”) Clear Zinc Coated, High Grade Steel, Top Plate and Back Plate Nickel Plated Spring Loaded 8ga Terminals r
  9. You would be better off saving up and getting something better. Are you only interested in a screen or would a regular HU be ok/?
  10. Thanks for the all the replies guys, So you think its a good idea? She's got around 170k on her, my MPG is way down and I think it could run a little better than it is, its not idling rough or anything. Maybe its a waste of time?
  11. Anyone ever do it? I am dying to try it because it seems like it works but then I've also read horror stories about it and I heard that you MUST change your spark plugs and oil within 100 miles after doing it, is that true? Any input on this would be great. Just found a tutorial on here. Seems like a good idea, any input from anyone though before I take the plunge?
  12. I've always had Pioneer and I think there fantastic (not a double din though) I would kill for the appradio one, I think the model number is like sph-da100? Edit: Nevermind, I just read that it only has 2v preouts haha but eitherway, I love pioneer.
  13. I only ran sealed until about 3 weeks ago, got a killer design from 412 CVX and finally built a ported box and its blown me away so far. Ill never go back to sealed again.
  14. If you did put no returns and as is you need to let paypal know that when they contact you. Shouldn't be a problem.
  15. wire a small on/off switch from between the jumper, if thats the only way its working.
  16. That has to do with reverse polarity, not quite his issue, at least I dont think. Like Kranny said 35w should be much brighter than regular bulbs, I went with 55w but I dont have projectors. Could be a bad ballast and its not giving the correct power or something could be wrong with the bulb themselves, did you try switching the bulbs and ballasts around and see if it changes? Does one side look brighter than the other?
  17. Well that doesn't make much sense, a crossover wouldn't drain your battery. Are you sure you didn't leave your lights on or something?
