  1. thats sooooooooooooooooooo hoe of the cop, make him loose his damn job. although it is his word against urs, you do have a witness with u.
  2. Thanks guys, I've looked at both of those and considered those, (most exelons I've looked at), but I am pretty sure I want one of these two alpines. I think I have it narrowed down. I just don't know which ones better / more worth it, it seems like the 9884 is the better choice and seems like they both will work with my ipod touch.
  3. lol goddammit IDK, I think I'm going to either get one of these two, they are right in my price range. I'm just not sure which one would be better, the 9884 seems better. They both need to work with my 1st gen iPod touch, it says they work for both headunits.
  4. Should I get the 9884 with the ipod cable, or the cde 102 with the ipod cable. It's cheaper for the 9884 and seems better?
  5. Well I think I'm going to ask for the alpine u posted with the ipod cable. Thanks man
  6. Alright well earlier this year my headunit crapped out (stock ford explorer 2002 xlt) and wouldn't pull the cd in, the things that pull and eject the cd don't work. Then randomly it started working, and after getting my car repaired it stopped. So now my Bday is on sunday, and I figure I might as well get a new headunit. I'm looking for a decent, affordable headunit. Near the 150$ dollar range I guess. More or less, Idk how much to be exact and I know I can't get that good of a headunit for that price but it should be better than nothing. I'm looking for subwoofer rca output, preferably 4v preout or higher (idk, maybe 2v won't be that bad?), iPod Touch (1st gen) hookup and so I can play it through the headunit, and thats about it? Something fairly easy to use. a Double din will fit my explorer, but I don't mind with single din or double. Help me out guys!
  7. Does that power supply power everything well? I just like to get a pretty big sized one incase I get a decent sized Graphics card.
  8. Thats what I was thinking ould be the other problem. are they supposed to be the same size?
  9. is that diff size wiring for the negative on the battery ? looks smaller.. VIDS! this looks sick
  10. Yeah IDK, I feel so stupid for even posting that lol.... I'll get it for you today after school. Thanks a ton dude.
  11. thats what i was thinking when he said it, i was like i can look at my windshield so that makes no sense lol.. well anyways I can give it to you lowryder... I'll just pm you tommarow I'll get it off my car.
  12. Thats exactly what he was talking about, he said it was dangerous for the spring to break or shoot out. If I paid for the car they wouldn't care but they paid for it. I wanted to install my own alternator, but they wouldn't let me do that lol.
  13. I was about to straight up just post it, but better to be safe than sorry I guess... I have been calling and goign to places and asking. My friend's dad who owns a dealership down the block is about to come over and look at it...
  14. no matter what, my dad wouldn't let me do it myself. He just wants to make sure it's done right, but at more of an affordable price.
  15. I don't think I should be releasing that info, atleast my mom doesn't want me to.... sorry man. They are telling me that people can get a lot of private info from that like the title and shit... lol idk man, no offense to you. Its a 4.0l v6 sohc (i belive, might be the dohc) any other info you would need...? EDIT: okay, i'm almost positive that what my bro told me is false. I don't know though if its safe to release my vin still
  16. Alright, I have an 02 explorer xlt 2wd. The two rear struts, two springs, and two links need to be fixed. They all go together from my understanding. It is a common problem on explorers, and it is of course messed up on my car. I got quoted at a local over priced place, for 730 something to fix it all including labor. the Links might not be necessary, but the mechanic said I might need/want to replace them. 700$ is just too damn much, I mean I understood it would have been a couple hundred but I'm trying to look for the most affordable place. Anyone know how much this should cost? I know some people here are mechanics/ own shops..... Thanks for all you guys' help.
  17. yeah i dont get it, will they be in videos like you'll be like "S!" randomely? or like in the descriptions? and will it only be in new videos that u post up between the 28th and the 4th?
  18. Can I get this too? The new program looks sick....
  19. It was supposed to be 22x5, 20.5 inches long = 33hz. isn't it different for my type of port to calculate tuning tho?
  20. Ya i'd probably not be too good with that, but if it comes down to it I'll try. I'm sure someone can figure it out, I'm hoping that is lol.
  21. bump, I am going to carpet this if the tuning is pretty close to what it was supposed to be, if not, I'm going to rebuild it later and not carpet it...
