Here comes the criticism: 1) use a mechanical pencil to draw your cut lines, makes for a straighter truer cut 2) glue the pieces together with wood glue. Run a bead then push the pieces together and screw. That box is going to be VERY weak and will probably leak now 3) JL, sell it 4) Clean garage a little 5) Keep reading/looking through forum, you have potential.

Well, I know a thing or two about stuffing stuff in trunks. See the build in my sig for ideas, but I would stick with the 15s. If you have the cone area, use it. Why downgrade unless you prefer working with 12s. I've put a very small sucky system in a geo once for my buddy Marcus, but a geos trunk has relatively good access despite their awkwardness. So I think it would be pretty easy to build a box inside it. I say go for it, got pics of said geo? Might help inspire ideas. "There is no limit in equipment, only skills and money are limited." Trust me, whatever you have, it'll fit.

I don't mind the paint job. I would never spend the $$ to have it done like that but I would prolly buy it for the right price and never hold the paint job against it. Plus, its an evo!!! Still, the car is well done just not appealing to a wide audience is all.

If I had to guess, I would say soft parts failed and the coil just sat in the gap unblown, probably wedged somehow and just started sucking up wattage. Since nothing was moving to keep it cool, the coils just turned the wattage into some ridiculous heat. That coil looks like it might have been beefy at one time and probably got red hot before failure.

We make cheap jungle juice at every party with Hawaiian Punch, Sunny D and lots of Everclear and then sell it for $5 a cup, refills free of course. Drop about $100 a weekend on jungle juice. Get laid everytime, and make a couple bucks in the end. Women + Everclear = Ok with me Feel free to try, results may vary. EDIT: And we play liquor pong on a regular basis, bitch cup is always a shot of straight everclear. Shit burns, but its usually the first to go down so plenty to chase with.

What if it is? Yeah, my car is falling apart. Spoiler mounts broke into pieces, which is why it flails so violently now, only one little bolt in the center mount is holding it on. Its only a matter of time...

I hate rattling, I'm about two seconds from ripping my damn spoiler off. My trunk doesn't flex or leak very much anymore even with the port unloading on it, thanks to 3/4" MDF and lot of fiberglass. But all the stress that fell on the hinges and trunk lid went to my spoiler so its at an all time bad. The mounts are snapped and the only thing holding it on is the bolt in the center mount, its bout to happen. But no, deadener is overlooked way too much and it helps more than you think. i can't stand when someone with a little bump drives by with a lot of rattle, but then again I'm a hypocrite til I fix my own probs.

Not true, but since its not an option your best bet is to deaden the hell out of your trunk. Block off and foam any unneeded air pockets and strengthen the hell out of your trunk lid. Thats your best chance. Slot port unloading on driver side, sub up.

You are going to lose so much output to that trunk, i would invest in making your seats fold down, even if you have to used cheap simple hinges and velcro. But If thats absolutely impossible I would do slot port firing towards one of the sides of the trunk. With sub up of course, and deaden the trunk to death. I put 3/4" MDF on my trunk, and I'm still trying to add some more strength to it. Trunks are evil, gotta get around their weaknesses.

Car needs some color matched big body rims and some bands on her. She is gorgeous, I give it three years before you slap that bish with a creative hand and do something crazy to it.
