What fabric/material should i use? Its in an 84 k5 blazer and i want it to look fairly stock. It had a maroon vinyl that got all torn up. but i want something that will have some dampening to it. Sooo any suggestions? Im leaving in the next 30 minutes to go get something

It is for show (and techno, ) we want to do 4 sides plexi and mdf for the bottom and and back with mirrors and some blue LED strips. I told him two 12's with the 6x9's in a separate chamber would be plenty but he's hell bent on the 4 12's. I'll be helping him with most of the work and the only experience i have with plexi is making computer cases, and i didn't find that too difficult. So I'm thinking this will be a pretty fun build and i always enjoy learning new things. So far I've gathered that we need: - .75" or thicker plexi - panel bracing (for some style and rigidity!) - some dough - less subs

I think dampening/anti-rattling will come first. I'm driving an 84 that is only sound deadened on the firewall and under the front seat. no back carpet of any kind (and the carpet in the front is falling apart ), and a bare fiberglass roof. So until its solid i don't think i WANT any more power. i have rattles coming from everywhere! SO ANYONE WITH THE DAMPENER HOOKUP PM MEEE!

the baffle bracing is laid out like this.

2x2's front to back(x2), left to right, and top to bottom(x2). and a "skeleton" from 2x4 to reinforce the baffle. it runs parallel to the ports on either side and perpendicular between the subs. kind of like 2 "T" shapes
