  1. you could go down to 3 cubes per sub, if you want to do 3 subs. but make sure you can have a good size port too. also, dont just brace you box with sheets of fiberglass, you need some threaded rod or some other kind of cross bracing
  2. yea, around that, but then youll need to account for port volume and sub displacement too. not enough room from you measurements you already put
  3. 2 15s, 4 amps, 6 or 7 cubes for the pair
  4. It will get louder. with the power your running, keep the ports a little smaller than normal. but atleast 100 sq inches of port or more and do the box a 6 or 7 cubes.
  5. 2 15s and a bigger port than you have spec'd out now
  6. Its more fun to try.. hah i had 2 high excursion 15s in a sealed box on 3k and i could get a little trick going.. I tried to video it and it didnt really even show up.
  7. wouldnt it have been easier to go to the car and try it.. instead of make us guess. ill say no though
  8. How does 2 dual 4 memphis mojos sound, 400 + shipping
  9. i have a 95 accord. all of the alt wires are run in front. i just put some extra loom around the wires and havent had any problems
  10. yesterday i asked my mom how much she thought it was worth. She said 5 bucks. So i told her id buy it from her, haha
  11. looks like the one of the trucks may get picked. Now time for convincing the parents.
  12. yea, thats my downfall on that truck. Ill have to figure out a good way to cover it up
  13. 95 For the daily vehicle? Gas mileage would go way downhill once turned into a comp car. those 2 are what have me leaning towards the trucks. i forgot to say. If i do one of the truck i have to convince the parent to let me cut it up. about 3 months ago it was, sure cut it up. now its, no cutting the trucks up. So if i decide on one of the trucks ill have to wait till i get the go ahead to cut again.
  14. Well i think Im killing my daily driver trying to get bigger and bigger systems in it. So I might build a comp/demo car and keep a smaller setup in my daily driver. My choices are: Honda accord sedan, Ill probably start with a crx style box, and eventually wall it. Advantage of using the accord is that its already got pretty much everything setup, just need a new box. bad thing is im not sure how much more it can take Early 90s dodge dakota single cab would be doing a 6th order blow through, truck has a camper shell, long bed, bench seat Late 90s dodge dakota single cab would be doing a 6th order blow through, truck has a bed cover, bucket seats, has a sunroof So of those choices which is a better candidate a comp vehicle. I would love to get my hand on a blow through build, but i dont think ive seen too many blow through setups for spl vehicles. My goal would be 155+ legal, maybe even a 160 If you have a suggestion please explain why.
  15. ?? youd rather go to a shop and spend 8 bucks for something you could get for 25 cents?
  16. you just need to know the size of bolt and thread and pick some up at lowes
  17. you dont really need all that stuff for you insurance to cover your system. If you have full coverage, its already covered, if not. you just need to add comprehensive i think it is. they take pictures of your system, you give the reciepts. that easy.
  18. its not a very reactive metal. Gold is the least reactive, lead is right next to it on the periodic table, so i has close to the same properties. i wonder which is cheaper. and even thought copper and silver are better conductors.. they have a bad oxidizing problem. It weird how im almost failing chemistry but i remember this stuff.
  19. your port area on exos calculator looks like you put a 31 where it should be a 3 on the width
  20. if you have more than one amp then multiple runs wont need the bolts
  21. your not gonna need multiple runs of 0 gauge for the saz1500
  22. I bought a blown eclipse sub from him to learn how to start building up subs. He kept in real good contact on how he was packaging and shipping sub, packaging was great. Definitely an A+ seller. Wouldnt hesitate from buying from him again.
  23. where did you come up with this??
  24. i just remembered i saw a guy on caraudio classifieds selling 3 mach 5 ixl 10s. pretty damn good subs.
