  1. I wouldnt just run out and throw 4k to the subs unless you know what your doing.
  2. kelvin is not a degree.. a kelvin is a unit itself mistaken...it's a scale just like Fahrenheit or Celsius... The kelvin is a unit of measurement for temperature. It is one of the seven base units in the International System of Units (SI) and is assigned the unit symbol K. The Kelvin scale is an absolute, thermodynamic temperature scale using as its null point absolute zero, the temperature at which all thermal motion ceases in the classical description of thermodynamics. The reference point that defines the Kelvin scale is the triple point of water at 273.16K (0.01 degrees Celsius). The kelvin is defined as 1/273.16 of the difference between these two reference points. The Kelvin scale is named after the Belfast-born engineer and physicist William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin (1824–1907), who wrote of the need for an "absolute thermometric scale". Unlike the degree Fahrenheit and degree Celsius, the kelvin is not referred to or typeset as a degree. The kelvin is the primary unit of measurement in the physical sciences, but is often used in conjunction with the degree Celsius, which has the same magnitude. 0kelvin is −273.15 degrees Celsius. i cant see where i was mistaken
  3. it does have some output though right?
  4. kelvin is not a degree.. a kelvin is a unit itself Haha..I'm dying over here edjumacation is everythin
  5. kelvin is not a degree.. a kelvin is a unit itself
  6. haha, bridge it. that always gives me a laugh is the gain on the amp actually turned up? or are you just messing with the remote gain.
  7. if its on your test,, its in your book.
  8. a post on ca.com says they shut down since tuesday for a little bit to upgrade servers for a better protection against a new virus attack, sucks cuz ive been looking to buy a few things on there.
  9. as long as your not cranking the gain to full clip and listening to it full tilt all day, you should be fine with a stock alt and stock batt, But you should do the Big 3 upgrade. it wont hurt anything to add a yellow top to the back, you wont need 2 alts for a 1k amp,
  10. but with the 4" pvc its alot cheaper and pretty easy to build your own with a mold
  11. full length for the 6" ports is 17", they dont come any bigger. the flares dont fit on the end of regular pvc. regular sch 40 pvc no, sdr35 pipe yea, its the green pipe, lots more expensive but he is looking for 4", you can sand down the od on the ends to fit
  12. then your new outer dimensions would be 44 x 14 x 20 port 5 x 12.5 x 19.5 youll just have to have a bend in the port
  13. thats what i figured, unless your play lots of chopped and screwed music i would tune around 34 hz, and even if you do, tuning to 34 will hit most of it anyway. i would do 1.5 or even less with the power you have, you should be fine with the 1.5 per which gives you 4.5 cubes. at 34hz youll get a port 5 x 12.5 x 19.5
  14. op has 2 6" ports, then there is sub disp, and port disp so those numbers you have in there are wrong
  15. if you could do 4 inches more you would have enough room for 3 12s and a 5 inch wide port. why did you pick a 30hz tuning?
  16. for a trunk 2 12s sealed off, or a single 18 if you wanted to cut a little.
  17. no chance of making the box wider?
  18. how much power do you plan on running
  19. i just played with your dimensions, and you have the space to do 4.5 cubes at 30hz with a 5 x 12.5 x 35 port, but you dont have the room on the front of the box to do it,
  20. your gonna want more port unless you mistyped the 1
  21. You shouldnt have a big problem with it, but if you do have any port noise you can just shave off that extra .75 inch. with that little port area and the sa 12s you will still be able to get the lows and youll most likely only raise .5 to 1hz
  22. why do you have a box for 10s and 12s together? is the box for the 10s and 12s gonna be in the same vehicle with the 15s?
