is the RE box thing good? tuned to 33.somethin with 1 port 4.25in wide by 14.5"L or 5in wide by 26.75L? better port on left or right? idk too many options need to get steered in one direction lol

currently my box is seperate chambers, 2.5 cubes each tuned to 38hz. eventually gonna be gettin some fi ssd 12's i think. amp is a t10001bd, car is 2000 impala. listen too all kinds of music, mainly rap but want it to play other stuff pretty good too. max size is 33Lx16.5Hx22.5D. idk if it should be single chamber and 1 port? 2 chambers like the one i got now or what? just looking for some ideas. tuning freq for the music i lesten to? how do i calculate port area? what should it be for ssd's? need any more info let me know thanks

yes its xp. its been the same from day one, when she opened the box and hooked it up. i personally think its the cpu, AMD. i have never liked a computer that has one, out of the ones ive used neway. just seems that the intel's are better. my bro's got a dell with a p4 and 256mb ram, and a shit ton of stuff on it and its still pretty fast, slow some times but arent they all...... oh well not mine i guess, so icant be picky thanks

ok my moms computer is kinda slow, takes like almost 10-15 mins to fully boot up and things open slowly n stuff. my gf's home computer is the "exact" same one with the exception of an intel p4ht instead of amd athlon 64, and 1g memory instead of 512. and hers is fast(er), boots up in less that 5 mins and things open fast n stuff. now would adding a stick of memory make my moms faster? or is the amd just junk? i think both. ne wayz would it matter what brand and size we put in? like its got 1-512mb so can we add say 1-1g or 1-256mb of a different brand? or does everything have to be the same? thanks

haha i got a 94 saturn sl2, got the same thing basically, but didnt pay no 12 bucks or even 2 bucks for it. just find out the resistance the computer sees from the sensor at 32 deg F and go buy the resistor(used to work at a car dealership in the service dept ). all it does is dump fuel into the engine as if it was 32F out, even when its like 95, does work a lil tho on my car cuz it runs good when its cold out(or thinks it is neway)

Those appeaer to be P215S8, can kinda read it in the 2nd pic there. from what i have heard they are decent subs. those are used and single 8ohm subs. can wire them(pair) to 4ohm i believe. but this is NEW and single 4 ohm(they also have the s8's) can wire them(pair) down to 2ohms i believe. they are from HDA which is rockoford and come with a legit 90day warranty. usually when one is sold they start up another auction for the same thing.

how about saving up a few more $$$ and get a rf T10001bd off of HDA on ebay i think they are selling them for $299 plus shipping, refurb but just like new. ive got one and it does 1633 rms @ 1 ohm. who know what others do but it will be over 1000 cuz its RF

ive got a 2000 impala. iraggi alt, yellow top up front, t10001bd, p450.4, gonna be 2 fi ssd's soon, and an old 1 farad rf cap-that im gonna get rid of. jw wondering which one was better cuz i wanna add a 2nd batt. i can get the optima for $170, saw a bunch of people gettin the powermasters, but i thought the optima looked better-specs wise. also the size of those is about as big as they can be. probably gonna put them behind the rear seats, between the box and seats. <------- is that a good i dea or no? or not matter?? i have the seats down most of the time, but not too many places to put one with a huge box and amps in the trunk. I think that nero 7 is the best, of the ones ive used anyways. kinda expensive but works good, and i always use cd-r's, usually hp or sony or something other than memorex<----just dont like them.

ive got a "220" (187) amp iraggi alt, and yellow top, and a lil 1 farad rf cap with the digital display and the voltage never drops below 13.6 idling with stereo cranked up.

ik they should but idk. used to have them on a p8002 and they were fine for 1.5-2 years get new amp and they both burn up in less than 6 months. one of my buddies had some old punch hx2s and they blew on him for about the same reason. reason------i have no idea. thats why i am starting to consider other brands for subs. but the amp is great.

yeah the box is 5.99 cubes minus port and the displacement of my subs its around 2.5 x 2.

ok ive got a rf t10001bd thats 1633 rms at 1 ohm, a box that is 2.5ish cubes per sub and tuned to around 35-38. i also got(had) 2 rf t112d4 subs. blew one and replaced it, now just blew the other one. not wanting to keep buying $400 subs every 4-5 months im thinking about other brands. anything that anyone has had experience with and would suggest? Thnaks.
