voltage drop
cqtama replied to cris2216's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
acdelco makes a 200 amp for the larger vehilcle, hummer with 6.0 engine tow trucks ambulances and what not. thats the one i have on my blazer. they share the same bolt patern and plug as the cs130. disconet your batteries and test them to see your resting voltage. you could have a bad battery -

Break in time?

im sorry whats this thread about? teamht's avatar has me a little distracted... ooo thats right. just set your amps correctly. no clippage and whatnot. you will be fine. if it gets smelly your doing somehitng wrong so backdown the volume and ask some more questions. -
not quite lol, lose the backseats and its no problem in either one. 2 door most likely will not fit without a wall with the backseats up, and in the 4 door it can be done but it will be above the window line and you might have to get creative. im in the process of putting 6 12's in my 4 door '01 and i still have backseats. EDIT: too slow but this^

its all about the box. if you get a good design, or design it well and build it strong then yes its possible esspecially in a small hatchback car. look around the forum, check out some of the member builds and ask questions. good luck

wheres decaf? what can you do with this
-
oo, missed that. yea the car needs 12 volts to start. try jumping him. if the car starts you need a battery
-
make sure the battery is connected tight. if its loose it wont start. did he mount anything in the glove box? theres nothing in there that would effect the cars starting unless he shorted something out
-
does it crank or just click withouth trying to start?
-
ok new idea. looks at decafs thread. he has about 100 songs that all slam. some of um are bound to have "clean" language

cqtama replied to jordiemarz's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
no therethe same thing, the one that shares walls with the enclosure is a slot port, but you can have a square port that doesnt share enclosure walls. theres also round ports (pvs pipe) or aero ports (the flared circle ones) but there all ports, or vents -

vented, ported = the same thing. he said tuned to 33 htz, so ported. you cant tune a selaed box. back to the op. pm one of the genious box builders here. i recomend bigg boy. tell him chris sent you. if not there are plently of others on here. most of them have a small fee though. audio is a business after all -
i dont see you having anywhere near enough space in the trunk of a gp for 2 18's. i would do something smaller. you're prbably better off with 10's or 12's
