    wwoooowwww, you used like 10x too many screws. probably split the wood all the way across. ive built boxes with no screws at all and they will NOT fall apart. and get rid of that cap. 1st off i believe the formula is 1 farad per 500w so its WAY too small. secondly caps are almost useless. sell it and buy a battery with your future electrical upgrades. not bashing you, i just give advice.

    what amperage alt? 250amp alt, optima yellow top up front and a kinetik 2400 in the back will work for 3kw. if you want the optima in the back get a G31 size.

    lets not suggest .5ohm to this guy. no offense but its something you need to be ready for. and the electrical demand goes way up oh and if your building it from the ground up, look at kick pods. they are amazing in a camaro (SQ wise)

    if i found the same amp it has three 30 amp fuses on it. 90 x 14 = 1260 (watts) x .7 (efficiency) = 882 so you can expect 882w out of that amp before the fuses pop. so no, its not good enough.

    no its not. its very easy. crescendo 3k's are the hot ticket at the moment. only $550. could do a sundown 1500 on each. audioque 3500. all depends on your budget.

    it absolutely should keep its settings after a reset. it would be very stupid if it didnt. what hu do you have? its a good feature to know how to use. makes it easy to test the mids/highs without the subs overpowering them. BTW, i love the disclaimer in your sig. ive been thinking about putting something like that for a while now. edit - oh ya, tape up the rca ends or something. the middle prong is a + and can short out.

    i had the pioneer shallows and i liked them. i would expect the RE slim subs to do pretty well. 2 of those 12"s can be in a 2 cube ported box. wont like 2000w though lol. dont think you can fit anything behind that bench seat that can take that much power. im with dwright, blowthrough.

    yes im serious... the stock battery is a vented lead acid battery correct? what part of lead acid venting into your car sounds good?

    correct. i dont understand why the input of the amp burns up from this but im assuming its because its getting power and not able to do anything with it. even with the amp off, power from the rca is still being fed to the amp. is it any different with the amp off? no idea. safest way would be to pull the rca or just hook up an old speaker and turn the gain down lol.

    nnnooooo lol. its not cae compliant and the fuse rating wont let it get to that much power before popping. might do 1k though.

    get that stock battery out of the car. its venting poison. the alt maxes out around 2k rpm so revving to 7k rpm is only hurting your engine. a VCM will help with this problem but as the others said, its probably the heat.

    http://teamsd.net/ they have a 1500w and 1000w amp at 2ohm. great quality, small size. the price they list is msrp, you can get them cheaper. if your friends look at you funny because you have a brand so good that they havnt heard of it, you should be proud. if you get audiopipe... well then they should look at you funny lol.
