couple questions. 1. do all the batts need to be XS power or is it ok if only one of them is? 2. how does this add up to $25,000? 8 points camps x 500 = 4,000 so unless 84 people set a world record AT FINALS its not $25,000. is there more of a give away somewhere or did someone just get crazy with the numbers?

nnnnoooooo. the SX wont like that. i would say it should be that loud but that all depends on you. some people fail enough to only get 146 out of 18"s and some people do 160+. just keep building boxes till you get a number you are happy with.

(no offense ) jig saw, again the name changed because of the saber saw idiots. now its called a scroll saw. miter saw, not a chop saw. sorry i was just in nebraska looking over my grandfathers old wood shop. he may have cancer and not much more time. he has made a lot of amazing things in his wood shop and tools have been on my mind this week.

i THINK the guy the designed the RE woofers left and is now working at FI (not sure if that was scott). the RE woofers have been the same, performance wise, since he left and FI has gotten better. so while RE is not bad, FI is better.

my car is but im not. im in lincoln nebraska at the moment. flying out tomorrow morning for Pittsburgh PE lots of people build boxes in their trunks. just look around at some build logs. im sure fritosaregood and thorhammer could give you some great tips.

ill admit rite now that you seem to have a better grasp at all this than i do but ill give it a shot. there is a delay from the back wave coming out of the port. if the back wave come out at the same time the subs push then everything is working together. since the horn is so big, you dont have a lot of pressure built up on the face of the subs so cancellation would be minimal. but the small box, port and a little pressure on the face of the cone will all help you not bottom out. just sounds like everything is working together. i dont like the port being so small but i think you built a great box.

you have to get used to that. he wasnt even that bad. it was just a joke. some people will come in and bash you for any little reason they come up with. its best to ignore them. if you dont then your just "feeding the troll". they love to argue and itll just piss you off more.
