Dont think this matters. Op the mounting diameter of the cut out hole is the same as the surround on the sub. Just make sure your hole is perfect and lined up unless its a w7

how is the cone bigger than the mounting ring???? the cutout should be exactly the same either way. just flip the sub.

cca isnt as conductive as ofc. there is no performance difference it can make on your system but cca seems to only be good for 250amps instead of 300amps. at least thats how i fuse them.

that chart is for DC power. its all rated assuming 12v. AC power does not work the same and that chart means nothing. if that chart was correct, i would need like 3/0 speaker wire.

what plastic would melt? my team mate used 10awg with his sd12k. and you dont even know how much power he is running.

you can use 8awg if you want, or you can use 10awg and you'll be able to fit two into one terminal

think ok the chassis as a wire. the negative actually starts at the battery, goes into the chassis then to your "ground" and into the amp. the copper in wire is more conductive than the steel of the car however. power doesnt just go into the chassis and disappear, it completes a circuit. is that what you were asking?

really?... you bought subs not knowing if they are good or what amp to put them on? whats your budget for an amp? what kind of electrical does your car have? did you get d1 or d2 coils?

i would go with the two 15"s at 1ohm and i'll tell you why. impedance rise. 4x rise at 2ohm gets you to 8ohm. at 1ohm it gets you 4ohm. so maybe the 12"s only get 1000w after rise and the 15"s get 2000w. twice the power. but i believe, not sure, that the four 12"s would have more rise than the two 15"s so the difference could be more significant than that. however, either option can be louder than the other. all depends on the user.
