Wtf. me & my girl called it quits last wednesday as well. we had stopped talking & we both knew it was over like 2 weeks before but this past wednesday was the last time we spoke bc I had to go to her house. the first few days were so hard but im getting over it. She broke up with me all of a sudden & our relationship changed so much & i knew something was up, then we broke up & like the next day I get a txt from a friend telling me something he saw & I was like wtf. 2+2=4 lol. wasnt that hard to figure out. I still love her to death & she says we will be friends & im gonna try to let that happen but in the meantime hanging with my buddies has made it easier.

if your rca is carrying no signal it can only be two problems. the rca or the HU. check the output of the HU next & see if its showing anything.

So I talked to my ex today ( I hate saying ex) but anyway were on good terms & talking to her wasnt as hard as i thought it would be. I still miss her a lot & ill have to see her wednesday to pick up the hamster we got bc she thought it was best I had it. So I dont know how that will go but I want to see her to kinda put this to a little bit more of a close. good thing is she willing to rep my audio & customs business so shes trying to help me out & she said that maybe once we both have our degress & iv got my business doing a little better we might have another chance, I guess ill be happy knowing that even if I dont get another chance with her I want the next guy to treat her with respect & care for her like I did. thats all I ask.

I think your gonna havea hard time making two of them out of a single sheet of wood. maybe if they wer about 2x2x2. They have to be kinda tall if you actually want to use them.

I might be going to home depot for some MDF in a few so I can start a new box for the S-10 & im hoping that wil get my mind off her for a while. I know im gonna need time. Right now shes all I can thig about & thats the way its been for about the last 2 weeks. I hope that I can find out what I want in life & maybe we will find ourselves back together someday. I loved that girl so much. & rogers. Im def not that kind of guy. I dont drink, smoke, anything, not once in my life.

Yeah I had a buddy of mine tell me that too. I work construction so extra shifts arent possible but I could always get back into wrebching on my truck. Im trying to start my own audio & customs shop so that might keep me busy too. not to mention I have more projects going in my room than I can count as far as models, r/c cars, and some audio stuff im working on. Im really bummed out, but im trying to stay positive & realize she did it because she thought it was best for both of us, and she had never steered me wrong before

Thanks man. Yeah my mom definately told me I wouldnt be able to talk to her at all if I wanted to move on anytime soon. Even though there was an inbalance somewhere we had so much fun together & we even talked about a future together. We thought it was meant to be but she didnt want me to settle on her without dating other people to see if she was what I really wanted. I mean, there is almost no better way she could have gone about it & I respect that. & I think it will be a while before I date or anything just because I need to focus on some other things like my college, and starting a business. I think I need to figure out my future before bringing someone else in with me.

So i met my girlfriend about 11 months ago & we dated for the last 9 months. Well about 2 weeks ago I started to notice some things changing & I thought I knew what was coming. I was just wasnt ready for it. She kinda told me it was over but she didnt really say it, so I was trying to figure out what was going on. Well last night she called me & was frustrated, she had been trying to not txt me or call me bc she was hoping it would help me understand. So anyway, we talked for about an hour & she did her absolute best to make it as easy on me as possible since she was the first girl I really dated. & I really respect her for being so easy on me & she said we could still talk from time to time & that we could be friends but I know as well as her that it would be difficult. Especially after what we had together & she knows I still love her with all my heart, & I know she stil loves me, there was just something about our relationship that wasnt balanced & we both knew it. last night was really hard & my mom tried to help me as best she could but still, I fell like there is this big empty spot in my life now & I want her back, & if we are meant to be together we will be, but until then I have to man up & move on, but sooooo many things remind me of her. So what should I do? I need the dr. phil like advice from the guys & gals of SMD. Thanks for taking the time to read my vent & leaving some words of wisdom.

Yeah you still use them. basically those go in one side of the bass cut knob & then another set of rcas go from the knob to the amp where you have the rcas now.

They are def Fosgatespeakers. They arent the current model though so they arent on their website. but fosgate makes 3 ways & they even have a 4 way speaker.

2 rcas go from your headunit to the amps inputs. If you use the bass cut knob I talked about earlier you have to run rcas from the HU to the knob & then from the knob to the amps inputs. It has 4 rca leads. 2 white & 2 red.

So, its never done this in the last 2 months. a few days ago you redid power & ground & now its smoking, might want to go and check them again. & to change your ohm load you have to rewire your voicecoils. How do you get .7 with one sub?

Sounds like you might have it wired down to low. Whats the ohm load on it?

What are your outputs rated at? & have you checked your ohm loads just to make sure something wierd isnt happening? Go back through your HU and amp & double check all the settings. make sure you hooked the amp up to the right pre-outs, oh & whats the voltage at your amp on both 12+ & remote? low voltage could do this too.
