  1. I have a friend who is a movie snob. Only likes movies that have "good" and original stories; so pretty much just weird movies. He said it was all too predictable. He also hated avatar, though, so I don't trust him too much when it comes to movie reviews. It seems that whatever movies he doesn't like, I like. Just to put it into perspective, one of his favorite movies is To Kill a Mockingbird. Yes, the movie from the 60's that you watched in literature class.
  2. In the audio section of the menu. Called SLA. You should also have loudness. I'm looking at the owners manual for the DEH-1200MP. I'm guessing it's probably just the newer version of yours.
  3. But that's what I mean. It's not hard to graduate, you just need to physically be there. So I don't get why people are so proud of that accomplishment. It's not a difficult feat to go to school every day.
  4. It's the little things that get to me lol Your pioneer probably does have it. It's a source level. Basically, if music from your cd's sound louder then music from the radio, you can adjust the source level of the radio to make it sound as loud as the cd's. He's just saying make sure it's not accidentally turned up.
  5. Apparently my Headunit defaults bass boost and some other sound enhancement features when it's unplugged. Took me blowing a few fuses to realize why it sounded so much louder and different.
  6. Well, the good thing about literature is you can interpret it in different ways. I didn't interpret it in that way lol
  7. Does that black part pull out? It sorta looks like an adaptor or something. -Damn, that was a lucky guess...
  8. I did Boston- More than a feeling for a school assignment. I forget what I said or what the song was even about, but it worked for me when I did it.
  9. That sounds like it'll be a nice setup. You should be real happy with that.
  10. Yea, like little girls who have them on the handles of their tricycles. I just don't get it.
  11. Why do you have that tassel hanging? I don't get why people do that. High school isn't hard to graduate, you just have to go to it, so why are people so proud of graduating high school that they leave their tassel up for 5 years? That did say 05, right?
  12. He could've calculated the voltage by figuring what 600 watts rms at 2 ohms would be. I'm not trying to be a dick, but you don't appreciate info that is negative and w/o facts, yet you are quoting what I said which has no facts behind it. Only difference is what I said is viewed as being more positive to you then what everyone else has been saying.
  13. I don't know how you can create an opinion on whether a company over or underrates their equipment. You can really only prove it by testing it, which would mean you have shown that it's fact, not opinion. Just because you trust the companies and have heard good things, doesn't mean they underrate their equipment. I think you should re-think that theory. You'll probably be fine with the clipping, though. That sub is rated to handle more power then what you are giving it, so lesser power that is clipped a little will probably be fine. Just fyi, V6 and I6 are different. That's the distinction I was making. Not to fight, just saying. Straight 6 (aka I6) means all the cylinders are in a line. V6 means they are arranged in a V shape with 3 cylinders on one side of the engine block, and 3 on the other. But yes, that engine is good. I have a 95 GC and my engine has over 200,000 miles and it's still running strong.
  14. I'm going to say it probably will sound louder in the jeep. Also, I'm fairly sure your engine isn't a V6, it's a I6. Only until recently, Jeep always had I6 engines. Also, that amp probably won't put out a clean 600watts. Just because everyone on here talks about how so many amps and woofers are underrated, doesn't mean they all are. Don't try it, turn the gain back. EDIT: Also, you can't hear clipping unless it is some pretty serious clipping. So don't judge by listening. You know the amp is rated for 450 clean watts, so just use those. Maybe it can put out more power w/o clipping, but without the proper equipment, you won't know.
  15. I've thought it would be cool to use one of those diamond plated tool boxes as a box cover for a small blowthrough.
  16. Definitely sounds cleaner. I can't tell too much about bass on my 5" speakers though.
  17. No, you're right. It's much slower for some reason. It seems it's mostly the main forum page. If I go in a thread, it's a little better. Used to happen sometimes on the old one too, but never really this bad.
  18. I'm going to guess it's really difficult and probably not worth the effort...
  19. Bottle opener/flash drive- one end a bottle opener, one end a flashdrive. Or the bottle opener end is the cap for the drive, thought I think the other way would work better. Fight club soap Rubiks Cube- Maybe have one layer or two of the blocks be the cap and you must twist to unlock it and take it off. Or have one block be the drive and you need to twist something to unlock it from the rest of the cube. game controller (Wii Remote, 360 controller, ps3) TV Remote lava lamp rubber duck SPAM Funky Pup Zippo microphone
