    Audiopipe ap3000 can be had for 330 And itll make rated power.. I clamped 2500@2ohm at 12v

    the alt makes hardly any power at idle.. i was told about 80a or so.. and after a minute of idling the alt is already hot, thats from a cold start

    by the time i get home hes closed its already been in once for repair as well..

    ok, so my set up consists of 1 425a mechman alt and 2 250a alts on start up all 3 alts are cold, but after aboutt 1 min idling the MM alt is at about 160 degrees fahrenheit, the alt doesnt even make power till about 1500rpm.. soo what would casue it to get so hot, so quick?

    Probly cutting out from low voltage 90amp alt. Isnt big enough to support 4k Unlea you have a couple biggg batteries even then youll only be good for a couple songs till batteries are drained

    Btls i ran the ufo style motor btls and they were awsome will take 4k all day, if you know what your doing
