    i had 2 in 2.2 cubes ( yes.. biggg box but was just messing around) at 30hz they hit the lows reall nice and for being in that big of a box they took quite a but of power, i had amp set for 3k at vol 50 and i got to vol 46 befor i heard mech noise

    id still go 16 cubes.. lol only reason i went so small is becasue i couldent fit anything bigger into my car

    the subs will bearly move in 6 cubes on 3k... do about 16 cubes mine was in 5.7 on 3k and i couldent even move the sub more then 1/2 an inch i ran 6k to it no problem in the same box..

    i have a 18 BTL fully loaded in 5.75 cubes and i cant even move it on 3k it took 6000rms in the same box no problem at all id say about 8 cubes each...

    i have NEVER seen that.... headers wrapped in header wrap yes heads no and ive seen some pretty high HP cars...... try running thicker oil to help with the oil burning id so a nice free flowing exhaust and intake and if you pull head off port and polish it

    seal rear deck from trunk will stop most of it then you can wedge cardboard between window and the back deck and that will get ride of it more then likely

    ya as nice as it would be to do a 150 i would needt to be tuned high then i am now and where its tuned now its not all that great for music so... i think ill lower tunning and see what happens!

    thought of it... just dont have the room really becase its a trunk install so i dont have much room to really work with i can how ever tune to 40 and block port off with some pieces of MDF for less port area which is another idea im working with! i think i will be tunning to 35 and calling it a day lowest ive tuned was 29.. and i think it was a bit to low 34hz-36hz is perfect i think..

    thats what ive been doing im sure if i tune higher i can do a better number but it wont sound that great daily, which is what i want but as much as i wanna gain more low end.. i wanna be loud at the same time lol

    thats what im going to do next with the box i have currently i can play lows very good but i think if i tune lower they will be even louder! i can play songs like muscle cars - E40 loud and play most of decafs music no problem at all and its still pretty loud!

    thats what im doing currently everythings sealed from trunk back deck is sealed as well i was thinking of doing an interchangeable port but i just dont have the room to do it and still beable to seal the box from the trunk

    my last setup was 4 10s in a 6th order tuned to 29 shit got retarded low!! im thinking of tunning to about 34 to pick up a little of the higher notes better

    that is also another option! forgot to put them but im not sure i have enough room becasue of the way my trunk has to be set up i have 4 batts in the trunk, 2 of which are behind the box so i only have 25" deep 37 wide and 15 tall is really the biggest i can go

    well i have limited room as well ( 37w 15t 25d) i have 4.3 cubes @ 45hz now and i peak at 35 and 46hz my car has peaked in low to mid 30s with EVERY box ive had no matter what i tune it to as well im only doing the bassrace 139.9 class for the comps i make it to as well

    alright... im stuck between a rock and a hard place im going to be building a new box not sure what i should do i like my lows but i wanna put up a half decent number i really want to do a 150+ but i would have to tune around 50hz to do so i know i can do a 146 @ 32hz and ive done a 147 @ 46hz but the 146 @ 32hz sounded much louder to the ear should i tune low and do a lower number or tune higher and do a higher number?!

    can also use garbage bags put the foam in the garbage bag also gorilla tape works wonders!
