  1. I have 2 15" xls in my s10. They are in a 6.5 cube box tuned at 40hz,and 140" of port. It breaks 50's anywhere in the truck on a DC 3.5K @ 1 ohm before rise. Im not to up to date on CRX;s but I dont see why you wont be able to break that easily soon!!!
  2. Check out Poorboys build on here. 2 15"xls on a 9k daily. Set it up clean and they will be fine on that 5k. Even the 3.5K will be good on them. A teammate has a 3.5K and had them on 2 12"xls and broke a 150 out of a trunk. Sealed off and wired down for a burp but either way, pretty impressive.
  3. think I do somewhere. Ill have to find them. Its going threw a few new stages to. Ill have some pics up this weekend.
  4. Yes the truck is a 4.3. Had to back away from dual alts to keep it a street class in meca. Dual alts are fairly simple to do in these though.

  7. Cutting plastics is not a permanent mod. The bolts for the jump seat are intact. The plastic can be cut as long as its behind the b. Im a Meca judge myself and work with the event director of central Illinois. Steve Stern has seen pics of all the pieces that where cut himself and the truck has already been judged several other times at various events.
  8. The middle brace is not cut out of the truck Pulse. Just the plastic around where the jumpseat used to be at in the truck. . Truck is a mod in Usaci due to the box being over the side windows some. Meca just uses the rear glass for a street class.
  9. they aren't though. whats not?
  10. Most of my numbers will always b e Meca. Pass. side headrest drivers door open.
  11. 12. Thats just not right....took me 15's and 18++ to break 150 in Meca barely
  13. 6.49 cubes, tuned at 40 hz with 140" of port. Thought I emailed it to you lol oops. 50.5 wide,23 tall I think and 17 deep. Not bad on some level 4's . And thanks Supercharged. Im trying to get xls and a 5k to see what kind of damage I can do lol. Oh and cutting the plastic on the truck will be required to get 50.5" wide
  14. you could also try port up aswell. Tweek that box alittle and you should have your 150. I run an 01 S10 aswell. my truck loves the box being tuned to 40hz and port up.

  19. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/38791-torres-box-tuning-calculator-updated-310/
  20. You should only need 2 sheet of 3/4" mdf board 4'x8' if you plan your box out right.
  21. The calculator will tell you how long to make it. What kind of budget? DC2K?
  22. Go with atleast 3.5 cubes around 17" of port per and tune low....you will love it. Mine have been great even over powering them but its built for numbers.
