Monster 1/0 400 powerflex wire
pear_b replied to sabor's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Ive had experience with their 4 gauge, and Monster I would never buy power cable from them, luckily I got mine second hand. Stay away, their over priced and that magnetic flux shit basically a piece of plastic in the middle rather than strands of copper. -
Which wires do you all prefer?
pear_b replied to kl0wn's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Shock Industries over on CACO has 1/0 CCA cable 4700 strand flexible as KNU, very similar and for something like $90+13 shipping and with that you get 2 free batt terminals. -
I glued my 45"s in, some silicone sealed it up good then I went over the entire box with resin and sealed it up. I think your talking about the cracks from the 45's? Some people flush it pretty good, if you dont like I do, just use some bodyfiller or something I would think.

pear_b replied to Crump's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
with proper grounding and wiring, and those battz you alrady said he shouldnt have a problem, im almost in the same boat, cept im choosing to just run a single front, 1/0 everything, maybe down the road run a small d680 or something but he will be fine. -

My dad has been sick since 2002 when he was diagnosed with leukemia cancer. Numerous goes with chemo and it came back, so last chance was for him to have a bone marrow transplant. This happened in Feb in Toronto. He came to see me graduate in June for 2 weeks and had to go back. He went back into the hospital and in August we visited him, the day after seeing him and bringing him outside to sit and eat, he developed an ammonia. He was put into ICU at 1 am that night, with me, my brother and mom at his side. Few days went by and they found out what he had. From then to know he had to have a breathing tube later a trachea, extremely high heart rate, low blood pressure, lung issues, and pretty much everything else that could go wrong went wrong. Well finally his breathing improved so much that the ICU kicked him out, with me and my brother being back home, my mom only to be by his side, we were all so happy. First time in almost 7.5 weeks that he would be out of the ICU at toronto general, and back at the PMH. Later that night, it was shortlived, because his breathing and x-ray had shown that his lungs were severely damaged, some disease that alot of AIDS patients develop and would take over a year to clear. My mom decided not to let him suffer again, and the doctors told us he would have 3 days at the max, this was tuesday. Wednesday we were flown in to be with my mom and my ill dad. I cant say how hard it is to watch your ill father die infront of you, especially after seeing how hard he has battled time and time again. And on friday october 8th, my dad took his last breath with me and my uncle being at his side. Its been hard for me and my brother, but I believe we are both taking it pretty well, as we have grown these past 8 months without really seeing our dad. But our memories with him, and state of shock still make it that much harder. So I would like everyone to be thankful for parents that love you, and really dont hate your life as there will always be someone in a harder position than you are.

im starting to look for a labtop, not a netbook etc. ill be using for basic student shit, and I would like to do fair bit of gmaing on it so def. has to have a nice graphics card. 3-4 gb of memory, 200+gb hd I dont like really big ones, I like to keep a clean pc with only stuff I use. I want to have great warrenty and customer service, this is a very big thing!! I really like Lenovo's, ive heard time after time they are built nice, lil pricey but I dont mind. The only way I would buy Apple is if they had all the features im looking for, and I would run solely windows 7 I hate apple with a passion. Let me know how HP's and the Sony's are. anything else im open too.

DC level 4 would be the cheaper route. A fully loaded BL will put you over your 300 mark. I would suggest a Cascade Omega driver only because its on sale right now, for $275 and can handle lots. Cascade Omega sale!

Why are imports more reliable?
pear_b replied to MTX J30's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
maybe because imports are lighter than the older domestics, easier on the car? it all comes down to what is said above, but I do think the japanese years ago were just ahead of the game. not sure how they fair up these days tho. -

Upgrade to Win 7... Is it worth it ?
pear_b replied to Fish Chris's topic in Computer Talk - News, technology, advice
windows 7 is just like vista cept they took a few things out bla bla and renamed it. if you dont want to spend the money, i wouldnt either, wait for a copy to come out and just grab a key for it and bingo. might have to update as microsoft likes to shut piraters down. -
my cdt's are rated at 160 rms, I have them hooked up to a 4 channel rated at 70x4, the move pretty good. i also blew my crossovers up from too much power, gain to high lol. and they were game to ship me a new set out. totally my fault, but they let it slide!
