ok that makes sense but idk i was just looking for a conservative way to spend 300 dollars and since i have em i wanna used em. and 2 more is kinda outta my cubic foot range. i only have about 5.5 cubes to work with thanks for the suggestion thought.. if i could fit em ied do it

Well i was looking in to purchasing new subs but i thought to myself i have to perfectly good motors from my old dc level 3's soo i am going to get them done my question is that i wanna beef em up a lil prob to take around a 1200 watts a piece as they are goin to be run by an orion 2500d i know this amp has the ability to make around 2800 watts so i wanna see if this is an idea that could work. i know that ied need to make em dual 1 subs to get a 1 ohm load due to rise inside the box and what not but what other things do i need to do to the subs to make this possible. or is it even possible

im thinking a lil different man.. give the guys a dc a call check out a level 3 sub.. i dont know what kinda car you have or are planning to get but there are excellent subs at a fair price..(contact them to find out price) or if that doesnt work you can go to audiosavings and look in to the re subs. the se's are ok but depending on buget and what it allows ied shoot for the sx's and let me how you this how can you build or have box specs with no sub or car.. thats prob gonna change just to let you know.. and alos look at the amps they carry a audiosavings they have a decent price on the amp you are looking for.. just my 2 cents..

a battery has 2 terminals positive and negative.. im askings could i remove the terminals and replace them with screws and have my power wire connected like that.. cuz i cant get 0 gauge rings over a battery terminal.. better?

srry dont mean to thread jack but i was wondering well i have a kinetik 1800 as my rear battery and im wondering is it safe to take the terminals out the battery replace them with screws to attach my wires to the battery...

see thats what i dont get i now have the tuning i want.. but ive been playin with the numbers and it like i cant get the port area about 90.. soo do i need to add to the box or subtract

sooo round about 7 cubes and say 112in of port area would make a good box..

so when they put the spects for optimum use where do they get the spects not questioning ur judgement just looking for imfo and i thank u sir
