  1. How does this look? Give him one to keep and I take the signed one?
  2. Alright I will have to do that. I'll print out a paper from my comp and take pictures of the head-unit, dash, etc. What exactly should the contract say?
  3. I'm trying to earn some extra money so I posted a service ad to install audio equipment. I've been installing shit since I was 13 but I have a quick question. If I install their stuff, is there any kind of liability issues I could be facing for anything? For instance, some guy wants me to install some front speakers in his Wrangler to his factory headunit. That's an easy $25 but I just want to make sure I'm safe to be doing this stuff as a freelance.
  4. Thanks Ray. I plan on wiring it into my alarm and using it as my trunk pop button as you stated. I also think I'm going with a 60 lb. solenoid because it's an older truck. I'd rather have to much than not enough. Thanks for the input -Twiztid, It would do me no good to put the latch on the other side. I wouldn't be able to open the gate with the tonneau cover on it. Thanks for the reply though.
  5. Haha. I started reading and was like, After multiple google searches and reading through 10 pages on each search I finally found it. Thanks for the input though.
  6. I've been researching this for a little while but can't find a whole lot of info. I'm going to shave my tailgate handle when I do some bodywork and new paint. I found a couple kits for a tailgate popper but can't find exactly how they work. For those that don't get what I'm saying, it's like the door popper kits for people who shave their door handles. The majority of people put the handle on the inside of the bed, but I plan on getting a tonneau cover that can only be opened from the under side if the tailgate is open. Has anyone seen one personally or know exactly how they work? Here's the kit- http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?partfamilyid=2251 I will be using some gas tailgate struts as well to keep it from just slamming open, will be a smooth drop.
  7. Randomly butt-sexed out of SMD Chat... FUCK THAT! Bills.... FUCK THAT! Can't go full-time for 2 years.... FUCK THAT!
  8. Any I can get. I'm hoping I will get on as a car installer, but I won't complain about any position.
  9. I'll be busy trying to pay off the remainder of my YFZ in those 30 days anyway. Haha. They're short on car installers so I'm hoping that's where I will be. I will be working there until I can go combo at UPS which will probably be 2 years at the least. Edit- Thanks for the good luck charm.
  10. I've been trying to get a part-time job with Best Buy for a while and I finally got scheduled for an interview. I know quite a bit of people on this site work there, how do you guys like it? Hopefully I get the job, I want some extra cash for the system toys. The nice employee discount is sweet to.
  11. I believe this is the color I'm going to paint my truck and I want to see if it looks good with blacked out tail-lights and marker lights. Thanks
  12. Saints by a TD & Field goal.... In other words, Saints by 10.
  13. In that case I'll be running them on 1 cube sealed for 2, will that SAZ-1000D be just perfect running both of them?
  14. My headliner area is very small so I wont need a lot there to double layer. The rear of the cab from the window up isn't getting anything either as it's painted so nothing would be covering it. So did you cover your entire cab basically? If you've seen the roof of the '67-'72 chevy pickups you'll know the headliner is pretty small. Doesn't go from window to window like newer vehicles. With out covering from the bottom of the rear window to the headliner will cut back a lot. As much as I would want to, it would look funky. I plan on doing the doors inside and out as well. So you're running about 110 sq. ft. or so... If you covered the entire cab I should probably be good with 80 sq. ft. and be able to double layer everything.
  15. I'm doing luxury liner on the floor and back wall of cab. I'm pretty sure that 80 sq. ft. will do everything with 2 layers. Guess I will order and find out.
  16. .5 cubes in a sealed enclosure... Will they run well in sealed? If so I will be ordering 2x Edit- Also what kind kind of space would they want ported? Say if running both off one SAZ-1000D, what would they want sealed and ported?
  17. Now I know why you're not responding in chat.... :dj: <--- Dj'ing himself....
  18. I measured my cab and it came out to about 30 sq. feet give or take a few. I'm going to get 80 sq. ft. but was just wondering how much have you guys used on a single cab, or even ext. cab truck? I'm going with 80 sq. ft. that way I know I have plenty to cover everything, what I have left I will double layer. I'm doing the firewall, floor, rear of cab up to 1" below the window, doors, and headliner. --- So how much have you guys used on a single cab? I'm using the Damp Pro along with Luxury liner pro on the floor and rear of cab. Edit- Have one more question, should I go with the 80 sq. ft. of Pro or get 160 sq. ft. of regular and triple/quad layer?
  19. Where does it say it's against the rules to post facts? I wasn't flaming him... Just stating a fact.
  20. Sweet. Bant for not breaking rules. Awesome.
