you will be fine, i'm running 39.5x16.50x15 on 15x12's. i personally like the fat tire look. the 15x10's would fatten out the tire, the 15x8's wont look to bad. i just looked at the kit, is your truck 2wd,if so 33's would be as big you could fit without serious trimming on that amount of lift.the 2wd's sit lower than the 4wd's.

anybody else have any inpute or other ideas?

i ditched the 60/40 bench in favor of bucket seats about 4 years ago. i got tired of having my nuts hugging the steering wheel. cant really fit to much behind the seats of the chevy's/gmc's. What bucket seats you go with? Aftermarket or chevy seats? Btw beautiful truck the seats are out of a freightliner semi i got off ebay years ago for around $200, i was able to use 3 of my existing seat brackets and had to use a universal bracket for the 88-98 chevy/gmc's and thanks its been through some changes.

my wife would be pissed if i sold it now. she wanted me to sell it before i did the solid axle swap and wouldnt do it.

according to psp's calc. 37 htz

thats what i was thinking. the issue i'm having is they need to be 17-18" long and i would have to have a bend in them to get the lenght and they might hit the motors of the subs. what about my slot port idea?talking to Rusty i'll have some loading issues with the sub closet to the port. thats kind of why i have the box on the smaller side to hopefully have more control. each sub will have roughly .625 cu ft of airspace and he recommends .7-.8 ported.

the issue with that is my amps will be on either side of the console. with the old set up it got pretty damn loud. i'm trying to find my memory stick to get the picture off of it. yes, that is my truck. just did the solid axle swap on it about 2 months ago. heres some pics heres a link to the build. http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/general-discussion/projects-builds-restorations/457922-time-ditch-ifs.html i ditched the 60/40 bench in favor of bucket seats about 4 years ago. i got tired of having my nuts hugging the steering wheel. cant really fit to much behind the seats of the chevy's/gmc's.well the way im building mine it will be able to move itfor those tender nights (the only plausible reason anyone would use a bench) i'm married, those nights of doing it in a vehicle are over.

its time for a change. this will be going in my 98 chevy single cab. i had a lvl 4 12 in a 2 cu ft tuned to 35 htz console. the sub was downfirng with a front firing port. the new set up will be 4 lvl 2 8's being powered by a dc 2k.both will be around 2.5 cu ft tuned between 35-37 htz. the first design is subs down and 2 3" psp ports firing up.i'd love to do a 6" psp but i dont want the port sticking up out the top. will 2 3" psp's be enough or will i have port noise? the psp ports will be 11.25 long not 11.75. option 2: 2.5 cu ft with a slot port firing up. 36.25 sq" of port i'm also worried i might have some loading issues with either one.

2 lvl 4 12's, it pounds pretty good. i think it did a 142,and that was with the box up against the front seats. -

thanks, ya Rusty has me thinking about the 4 8's in a center console. just need to figure out if i can pull it off with the box not looking like a box.i should be able to squeeze it in there. the one issue could be the aero ports and the distance i'll be able to give them. -

#3(current one in my truck) i used 3/4" mdf. that was almost 1 sheet. i'm still looking. if i cant find it, i'll draw it up for you and send you a pm.
-
no, that one ended up almost getting stolen out of my truck. they tried cutting it in half to get it out. i'll see if i can find my cut sheet for it. as for subs any of those should make you happy.

that console is long gone, i rebuilt it again awhile back. same design just a little smaller, its 2 cu ft 30sq" of port tuned to 35 htz. i have a couple of ideas for a new one. i want to try sub and port back.
