I have been slacking on the build log pics lol Ok to recap....in my car the lvl 5's have shown themselves to be the winner in that box. lol The spl xl's did fairly well but I launched them religously and blew apart many dust caps lol Exo is working on a vid of me at Morrisville doing surgery to the lil guy lol. On the bright side I was unable to tear the butyl rubber surround I was testing. I pulled it clean off the basket,cone etc.. 5 times and still didnt tear it. Theres something there for sure. Along with being in the lanes every weekend I've been building subs here and there. I built a couple lvl 5 12's recently, a lvl 5 18 and a lvl 5 spl 18 along with doing some surgery on my lil Monstas. Random pics for ya! lvl 5 spl I've started working on the box itself trying to get rid of the loading. This guy lost his surround after recording a 152.2. I taped him up and he did a 151.8. Both subs now have dual surrounds and are back in the 52's lol I'm psyched! This weekend is the Carlisle show in PA! 3x Drag/Bassrace/King of the Trunk Series! Who would like to see some different amps in the GP?

You'll be surprised when you dig into music. It definately is punchier but very musical. As long as you have the former cap in place you wont be fighting the dustcap blues lol In fact I'm taking one of my spl xl's and building it to a 15 to be put into a car for Bassrace. I had no issues with cooling and was able to do 3-5mins balls out without stinking up the coils. Very Nice Bro! Lets see those pics

Either a dual 4 coil parallel (pos to pos, neg to neg) or a dual 1 coil in series (pos to neg opposite coils then pos and neg to amp) will do this for you.

Specs really wont change that much. The lvl 5 coil will take more thermally but your still limited to the motor strength and mechanical limits.

Chode I will get that done this week I went to 2 shows yesterday. First show 152.1 42hz, second show 152.2 42hz Finally got my 52's in the lane!! Wooooot!! Show number 3 this morning in Buffalo!

Wow this season is really getting off to a Boom here in the Northeast! This Saturday will be a 1x in Oswego,NY followed by a 1x in Maryvalle NY with the weekend capping off with a 1x in Buffalo! Count them.....3 shows in 2 days! Thats just how we do it!
