  1. jbweld? i tried fixing my key fob with jb weld and it broke. so im sure as hell not trusting it to hold a bolt into my block. lol
  2. yeah you got it out, and you hauled it, but me and luke were the ones doing everything else the rest of the time
  3. i fucking cried looking at a few of these http://www.buzzfeed.com/awesomer/the-24-best-chat-roulette-screenshots-nsfw lol i got on chatroulette just for kicks after watching that video. and its true, its just a bunch of guys jacking off lol
  4. i get no credit for anything? wasnt it me and luke working on this thing for around 8 straight hours until 6am putting the motor in while you and elijah were fucking around my garage cutting shit with bolt cutters? lol
  5. yes it is. if 115 ft/lbs of torque is too much for these motors, then theres something wrong.. lol i couldnt have done much when the lower bolt hole broke. so i had this coming to me i suppose. but fuck it. i've been waiting for something like this to happen so i can get my lsvtec or b20v lol
  6. im going with solid torque mounts on the drivers side to keep so weight up off the mount. going to look into what size taps and bolts to get tomorrow and hopefully i'll have the motor held in there by sometime early next week.
  7. but the thing is, i dont have the finances to swap blocks right now. i cant even afford the damn helicoil kit lol i just need a temporary fix that will get me through the next 3 months. so im just going to drop the motor enough to drill out and retap the holes. throw in some helicoils and throw some coarser threaded bolts in. shit, i just need a damn car to drive lol i want to do the cheapest, most reliable fix possible. swapping blocks right now will cost a little more than i can afford, but in reality, its only going to have to last me until january while i drive like a grandma lol
  8. yeah, but what about the bottom hole? it has a huge chunk missing from the bottom. i could always drill out the center one and tap it as well and somehow weld the bottom one back into somewhat factory form and retap it? so instead of having 2 bolts holding it on, i'll have 3. edit: i only need to use this motor this winter, im swaping it in january when i get my check for school
  9. i also have a spare block i can swap over but thats my very very last resort.
  10. yeah its on drivers side. and about a month ago the bottom one broke and i picked out the chunk and tightened the bolts down back in. the bottom one would actually tighten as well. driven it like a grandma since then. not sure how the motor pulled to the side and stripped both bolts out though.
  11. ok picture time lol heres the block itself, the top and bottom(broken) holes are where the mount itself screws in. heres the mount heres my molested car lol and heres how my bumper is being kept from cracking anymore
  12. waiting on wilson aka wL<3bass to upload. i think he's working and i dont have a camera. but i guess i can look for my old phone and take some pictures with that.
  13. you bastard. mre's are better than store baught food nowadays lol especially the chili ones. the jam and crackers are fantastic for being drypacked the "milkshake" isnt the best though lol
  14. well i just got my car towed back to my house a few hours ago. got it taken apart ( acc belts, timing cover. ect. and got the top driver side mount off. and the bolt holding the mount to the block came out and completely stripped the threads. and the lower bolt of the mount is half exposed from a piece of aluminum on the block breaking off due to harsh shifting. so i need to know how to fix the issue with either helicoils or what. i will post pictures as soon as i can get them. they'll be alot of help describing what im talking about.
  15. and heres the english lesson for the day lol i mean we've already had the one about sharing (spleague "stealing" our emoticons/bandwidth)
  16. imo s2k's are sexy as fuck. i'd drive one in a heartbeat. im gonna try and pick one up next summer
  17. i would pick the wrx because: 4 doors (trips with friends) already boosted, awd, reliable if its not ghetto rigged together, doesn't need much on maintenace than any other ordinary car if its not ragged on all the time, good winter cars s2000: its a honda, convertable, rwd, very very comfortable seats, clean body style, good gas mileage, projectors (i think) and much more on both of these cars. bottom line though, i wouldnt look into the pros of both cars, but into the cons about them. look into what upgrades you would like to do in the future. you cant put a big stereo into that convertable s2k like you can in the wrx.
