xentec>ddm any day of the week. just throwing that out there from my experiences with the both of them. shit, i got my xentec ballasts and bulbs 2 years ago, got my ddm like a year ago, and hate to say it, but the xentects still work perfectly, while the ddm were basically shit right out of the box lol

would the head gasket get replaced though if you take motor apart to install new rings? yes, or atleast it should have been. on honda's, anytime the head is seperated from the block, the gasket should be replaced. i mean for honda's they're cheap as dirt

this may seem like a dumb question, but it just struck me. is there any way to remove the "latest vehicles" banner from above the recent topics. its not like i dont wanna see your guys' cars. but its just that i've seen the same 4 or 5 cars for the past month or so. it would be nice if it had a minimize tap like the other main topics for my own ease of browsing the recent topics without keeping to scroll down everytime i go to the main forum page. call me lazy, i dont care lol not looking for a fix, just asking questions and giving my opinion (carefully) lol i know theres a few 'snipers' on this forum that shoots down members' opinions faster than the speed of light

for mainstream, you cant really beat meguiars and mothers. i dont know much about "underground" products for interior detailing. but i can get the job done perfectly with some meguiars interior detailer, a few tooth brushes, q-tips, and microfibers.

but your going to be paying out the ass for it lol why not just buy a d series motor and boost it, i have a d16y8 and i just bought a 20g turbo yesterday. so when its all said and done i should be making around 210 on the stock motor and 8-10 psi, and in the spring i'll be building the bottom end and have roughly 300 whp on low boost. while still getting 30 mpg : )

i'd just go with the f23a1, its a motor designed for the car (mounts and such) if you want a little more then go with a b series.. but if you have the money, time and skill, then go for the k24/k20. f series motors are out of my league though lol i only specialize in d and b series as of right now. haha but if you need any help with anything theres a few of us honda guys on this forum that know their stuff.

headlights take like a minute a side to take out without removing the bumper lol just gotta know some secrets to hondas. but on the other hand, you may have to actually take the drivers side light out to get the hid bulb in without hitting it on anything though because of the p/s reservoir. the passenger side should be easy as pie.

i thought canadian si's were equal to an ex in america, and canadian si-r's were the equivilant to an american SI..
