Thank you DC Audio for making the best Bassrace woofers in the world!!!!!

Well it got louder thanks to a power upgrade from Stetsom and the DC subs are loving every watt!!! Hope everything goes smoothly next weekend and i will work on a 162 bassrace, minus the red light violation. Just a good old straight up clean bassrace whatchumacall it.

Well i tested on a single lv5 12 last year with damn near 20kw of power. It held up with 4 stiff spiders for the 3 burps i did at that power. That motor has alot of control over the coil and that helps alot. Man that was the first thing i noticed!!! That sub should be good for 20kw all day for burps!!!

Use a PAC LC-1 it is much better alternative to a remote gain control that comes with the amp.

I have to recommend this sub myself. I have had really good results using them. Last year i had lv5s this year im using the XLs and i am louder then ever, and my back is half way healed up from lifting the 5s from last year. lol

That is a rad sub for sure. Now to the drug store for back pain pills. You will need them.

I have some vids with 8 of those subs.

He will be running 2ohm. Wont have much more then 2500 watts on 12 volts after rise. Use your old box.

Here is the problem, most of the time i dont have time to answer all the questions about the box, as they are not all easy to answer. I usually pop in check the DC forum and leave and get back to work. I will fill you in on the box here quickly. Currently 6th order, rebuilding to 4th order to try it out. Truck is a all wood build, to keep the weight down and keep Jimbo driving to the shows, including 32 hour each way to finals. The main thing that makes Jimbo wang is the testing time. It has been rebuilt many times over. The volumes are to small, dont know exact but thats not important, they are as big as i can make them in a tiny vehicle like Jimbo. If this was a astro it would be much louder as i could have proper ratios to make it efficient. But approx 4 subs share 7 cubes. But with enough testing you can make anything work, this is the trick, test hard and trust in your equipment to hold up this is why i use DC subs and Stetsom amps. On that note 14,000 watts of power from 4 Stetsom 4k2d amps, and 8 DC lv4xl subs 8 Powermaster D3100 batts. On top of that it helps to be ran over by a semi atleast once before you try to build a truck like this. Makes it more challenging. I will dig deep and try to improve on my score on sept 13th for the next 2x dB Drag event.
