  1. id do a audioque HDC3 on a saz1500 or a fi bl on a the same amp both of those subs can handle about 1800watts of clean power. and for amps look on here for some used sundowns, AQ, and others that are good youll save alot of $. hell ill sell you my kx 1200.1 for a good price if your looking to go that route
  2. i was about to say the 2200d too haha. as far as eletrical goes id put a yellowtop up front get a good high output alternator. and put 2 more group 31 batteries in the back
  3. id put them in 1.5 cubes a piece after displacemnts and subs forward and port forward . you said you want this to be a "spl" box in saying this do you mean a burp box or one that just gets loud?
  4. yup i wish i had that on my sundown :/ still a baddass amp tho
  5. basically it works like this. since i researched this for a while when i was figuring out how the hell i blew my last system. when you clip an amp it sends a clipped signal to the sub and the exact thing happens when you clip a song. the only major difference is usually songs aren't clipped throughout the entire track on the other hand if your clipping your amp bad then its sending a constant clipped signal to the woofer which = major damage. i mean ive seen some serioously bad clipped songs that will make your shit so stinky just look at what your playing before you play it itll save you some money i cant imagine how bad a badlyclipped song+badlyclipped amp would be lol
  6. depends on what your lookin for. you want a sport type shoe or a more casual nicer looking one?
  7. how much are you willing to spend cause im sure the hifonics wont do rated power
  8. yea take a look at the pheonix gold RSD comps i love mine and 70$ a pair FTMFW
  9. depends but you can blow a sub with half the power its required for if your clipping it
  10. im pretty sure coil rub dosent make a popping noise. coil rub is where you clip the shit out of the sub and the coil heats up and melts making it deformed
  11. the HDC3 are wayy underrated the copper coils can take about 1800 watts of clean power and the aluminum option can take about 3k+
  12. i get at least a 250a alt and 2 kinetik hc2400. look at some other companies other than fi audioque is better in your on a budget and cone area has nothing to do with how low it gets cone area just gives you more output box tuning is what makes you get low
  13. Audioque Hdc3 are good 18's and there not real expensive at all. your still gonna have to buy at least 2 batts and a high output alt
  14. one easy way to do it and i just hotught of it is get a snap cover (there pretty cheap) and wire them to yur bed and build a nice batt rack
  15. sorry for the thread jack. just sayin there is no point in moddin the amp to run on low voltage sounds like a start to a disaster to me
  16. haha the one about playing songs that dont drop low? read the suggestion i gave him haha. btw the fi slams pretty hard for wat i got
  17. yea i agree HO ALT FTW. and i loled at the no subwoofer brake in
  18. those bother me more than just plain asking about something that i already have.
  19. yea i know theres other ways. like bass bots and overdoing the gains which i never do lol
  20. yea and the knu is probably going to be cheaper. and its GREAT wire i love it
