  1. this makes me want to get my ( 8 ) 8s playing so bad
  2. im sure its just a tad less than 175 watts maybe 125-150 watts thats just a guess though but i would suggest wiring everything together then checking the imp before hooking it to the amp
  3. and thats why i dotn go to the public bathroom i can hold it
  4. A .5 cap will do nothing 40 cap maybe but still it just adds to the load on the electrical system
  5. DDs play crazy low tuned in the high 30s I had my AQs (not really DD but similar) tines to like 36-37 and they got stupid low
  6. Somebody tried to tell me once that all the 0ga I have under my hood will drain my battery I was "yeah bro"
  7. Lol at a red square on one side I think I want to paint one on. My biz for the he'll of it I even have the paint already haha
  8. not needed for that power but with electrical its always best to have more than not enough at the very least you could upgrade the battery under the hood
  9. if your buddy has a 4000 watt amp with built in fuses that amp probably does maybe 1000 watts ive NEVER seen anything over 1500 watts with on board fuses usually the fuse rating will give away actual power
  10. i think its spray texture
  11. fixed for you just use the image button on the editor and paste the image url there
  12. a horn ? for your first box??
  13. sundown 100.4 = the best 4ch amp ever made the crossover is unbelievable and it has plenty of power to power any combination of speakers im using 2 of them to power 4 tweets 4 6.5" and 2 8"
  14. picture fail but congrats on your first build
  15. you do realize that is 0.0001% there is no way you could see in or out for that matter
  16. x's 2 on more power those things laugh at anything below 2k
  17. And if he upgraded to a bugger amp(s) those 12s would be insane 4 dual 4ohm subs then you could upgrade to 2 2000 watt amps in the future given you have a stable electrical
  18. With the upgrades that would be necessary for a btl you could do 4 SA12s in a nice box power them with the amp you have and still have room for upgrading an amp(s) and probably double your output now and kill a single btl setup
  19. You could also get more output from 2 SA12s than what you have too depending on the install like stated before and you would save tons of money rather than doing a btl but it's ultimately up to you
  20. If you put that 400 with the other 300 you said you would spend you could get a pair of SA12s and power them off that amp and they would love it you could build a box to spec tuned to 32-35 hz would sound great you wold have plenty of money left over too I think the SA12s go for less than 200 easy
  21. The onyx line is just the replacement for the discus line if anything it's better newer technology they are solid amps for the money
  22. be ready to brace like crazy and fiberglass like crazy particle board is good for like 6.5" and stuff like that but i would never use it for subs
