    repairs are and always will be cheaper on american cars unless they get bought out by a foreign company and especially an old bmw like that one thee is no way it would be cheaper to own

    its not that 12s arent as loud but the HDC is a much more capable woofer than the sdc and no matter what anyone says they always want to upgrade in the future and im all for some sa series woofers you could do 4 sa12s and and have versatility, expandability and they are way cheaper than hdcs

    an srt4 and a neon are the same car the conversion you are talking about is way more involved than that nothing would line up you would be better of just buying a 2000 dodge none of the supports are the same it would be the same difficulty as putting a for front end on a chevy (not only that but blasphemy)

    you never want to tune AQ subs below 36 they are like DDs tune high and play LOWWWWW the 2 15s would be easier on you and you def wont be disappointed and plus you would have upgrade room for another amp with HDC3s

    4th orders are sealed and ported there is a ratio to follow and they are typically HUGE the box for my 8s is over 10cubes

    4ft would be ok for the power you have you would probably need it anyway and if you want to take it easy on your electrical system wire the subs bridged at 4ohm

    my box is 45 Mine it´s 41 on the maths , but after 45´s , threaded rods and a couple of other things i´m pretty sure it´s around there lol, it plays low anyways, got to love DD´s mines a 4th haha but i think i messed up my port so i think im in the 40hz range now if my math is right but oh well i can always make the port bigger

    that amp will be ok they could probably take a little more power but its probably not needed you can do the box however you want i want just making suggestions just make sure you stay in the 32-36hz range with tuning and make sure you have enough port area

    those opti amps are no joke though ive heard a pair on a pair of DC lvl 6s and they got DOWN holy hell it was the most violent system i have ever heard
