lol at all the impatience in this thread. this stuff doesn't happen in a matter of 10 minutes. some new things to wade through. i like new features i like the title bar too. looks more sophisticated imo

it depends on what kinda car it's for. some can be bought, others for less common vehicles will have to be made

i have 8k in mine, 35 watt and they're not very blue at all. nor do i have trouble seeing in the rain. they're labeled as 8k but i've always wondered if that was a slip up and they're really 6k. they're pretty much pure white

BL is buzz lightyear, i think from his son. so they used the initials BL. that's what i remember from the thread i saw last but not 100% sure if that's factual. can't remember what they said BTL stands for. it's on the tip of my tongue. i'll edit my post if i remember lol

back like 8 years ago i had some rinky dinky mtx 2 channel amp. ran a pair of mtx 10's. way before i even knew anything about ohms or gains. one guy just told me 'it'll be way louder if you bridge it', so i did, and it was lol

i built my gaming rig a couple years ago for just over a grand if i remember right. i could use a graphics card upgrade, but in no hurry as i've been able to play pretty much any game on their highest settings. maybe a couple turned down to high (instead of highest as some games have) or to medium, but you don't notice it. but i'll upgrade it sometime. i'm going to start playing dead space 2 here soon, and debating on black ops for PC or ps3

I wont lead to clipping especially if you tune it like your supposed to, with the knob all the way up. That way you have NO WAY of clipping with your knob all the way up or all the way down. Thats the smart way to do it i believe he was getting at the point that if halfway is 'full blast' and his gf goes and turns it down, there's still going to be some bump in there regardless of what she can do

just an fyi...just because a sub is wired to an amp does not necessarily mean it's getting the full power. a 10k amp could be wired to one sub at say...8 ohms and only be seeing 2500 watts. you don't know this in the video when it's playing unless noted otherwise. you just see a sub and a big amp and think the best

but why? a mono block amp is a mono block amp. doesn't matter how many channels it has. if i had an 8k amp with 8 'channels' i'd be happy as i could wire multiple subs to it without having to cram wires into 1 single terminal. using 1 terminal is the same as using 8 terminals in a mono block amp. the top one...if it's a 4 ohm DVC sub then yes, that's a 2 ohm load on the amp. the bottom...that's a 1 ohm load if the subs are 4 ohm DVC subs. they'd have to be 8 ohm DVC to get a 2 ohm load on the amp wired like that. and really...try to use more contrasting colors if you're going to make a diagram. makes it much easier to read. straight lines also help with the straight tool. and if you're using paint, the text button also makes typing much easier than scribbling. just sayin
