  1. yes. he has 4 amps, but they're all linked, so he only needs one knob going to the main amp so it controls all 4.
  2. yeah dont think they'd put up their friends death up like that. might've been to help stop all the negative comments people would put
  3. hahahah he got OWNED by that car. i'm glad. those kids were mindin their own business ridin their bikes. hate people like that. hope he has scar on his face as a permanent reminder
  4. pfff listen to you guys talkin about cold weather. i'm out in <30º weather with a smile on my face :)
  5. alright. i'll color code the different parts and put a key in it so you can distinguish between the two. but i'll get to that tomorrow after a little work on my box cuz i'm bout to go to bed. been reworkin my RMS chart. EDIT: btw...i sent one to ya joey
  6. i can edit it a lil if you'd like. color the boxes you need to put dimensions in, and show you where the box volume is and show you where it's tuned to
  7. oh and btw...need excel/spreadsheet to use it
  8. sent to both of ya
  9. yeah that one isnt bad. but this one is more versatile. tho not quite as easy to use. but once you know what you're lookin at, you're fine. and it'll do square ports and round ports.
  10. sent to you too smokesumtires
  11. a nice little program there's a formula, but to do it on paper would take a while longer.
  12. yeah i agree. could be the same size, just made to fit better in the truck and have the port designed into it. not sure how deep the subs are, but the port could come out the top of it. or on each side. up to you if you wanna give it a shot. but if you're afraid of messing up the box, then you may wanna leave it sealed. also...while some subs can be put in ported and sealed boxes, some are only recommended for sealed and some are recommended for ported. so possibly his subs might be better off in the sealed box
  13. ok i got the link...not sure if that's gonna change much tho
  14. hmmmm...not sure how well this is gonna work. i just estimated and used dimensions of 12x12x15 (not including wood measurements) to get 1.25 cubes of air in each chamber. so this says you'll need a port size of 3 inches high, 1.5 inches wide, and 10 inches long. that'll tune it to 34.5 hz. BUT...that's going to take away from the volume inside the box. so that'll only give each chamber 1.22 cubes of air after port displacement. not sure how that'd sound, since i'm not sure how much air space those subs recommend. but if you wanna try it out, it wouldnt be too hard to patch the hole back up i guess
  15. ahhhh ok. i'm followin you know. thought you were wanting to change the port that was on it. hmmm...may not be possible. but lemme see if i can check it out
  16. if it's a premade box with a port in it, then it's already tuned to some number. got the length width and heighth of the port by chance? i can find what it's tuned to
  17. is it going to be rebuilt? if not...dimensions of a single chamber? if yes and you're gonna use a common chamber, dimensions of that one?
  18. i agree with accordman. good direction to go in imo

  21. i was wondering this also. but with me wanting a ps3...ima go blue ray. i'm sure it's not THAT big of a noticeable difference between the two. like between VHS and DVD.
