  1. x2. a smaller sub in the proper enclosure > a bigger sub in a bad one
  2. i would NOT do the port that thin if it's going to be that long
  3. lol that's what i was thinkin yeah. photoshop or somethin
  4. pfffff you guys are just voting good to go cuz he's an admin and you're scared of gettin banned *cough cough about a month cough* <3
  5. wow...i mean it's not bad, i dont hate it exactly, but it definitely doesnt sound like typical gorilla zoe
  6. i like the beat you have on the first vid nice PC too i built mine about a year ago, maybe a tad less but i'm wanting to upgrade it again. just cuz. but not enough cash flow for that
  7. solder needs flux to stick. and the solder goes where the heat is. so it'll more or less follow the flame
  8. asking that kind of question here will always yield a higher DC vote
  9. box tuning also plays a role. i believe most people have it set to around 10 hz below tuning frequency. and i would only leave it off for burping. bassrace/driveby leave it on
  10. i would avoid making is that thin. keep the same port area, but different dimensions. you dont want to squeeze the air out as it can cause some port noise. i forget exactly...but i think it's a 1:6 or a 1:8 ratio of width to length, granted that 2x15 is 1:7.5, i would still try to reconfigure a little
  11. www.mediaconverter.org is what i use for youtube. you can select from a drop down list what you want
  12. he used to sell SMD shirts, but i think it was too much of a hassle or too much to keep track of. but he quit for whatever reason. now they go through nekked clothing. i think is the name...
  13. i cant see it...but EDIT: ooooh i see now
  14. that's only 12 but yeah that would still work. as long as 8 positives are in parallel of one set, and 8 negatives in parallel of the other 8, then series them together by sets of 2
  15. unless you're REALLY careful...which i would be.
  16. the t-nut method is probably the method i'd use. and just be careful when drilling through the plexi like the others mentioned
  17. i put the PC together and bought the 32/64 bit vista ultimate. i'll try safe mode when i get home. could it possibly be the drivers of the sound card? i'm just confused as to why my music/video and all is fine
  18. you mean for mine? you're talking about end correction in the port right? i thought the same thing, and even had it in the equation as well, but took it out cuz it was off compared to the excel calculator i usually use. i can make that an option to select if someone plans on using the box wall as a port wall, as well as fine tune it again because there was something else i needed to check i think
  19. i could build it in a lil bit as i have a box to build for someone else on here when i can get the wood down here. i wouldnt want to ship it tho. you'd most likely have to come pick it up yourself. EDIT: i'd give fishercustoms a shot. a box of that size might be more well worth your money
  20. i use a circular saw myself, but have good clamps. measure twice cut once and i'm good. been using the table saw for a smaller project since i dont have all the room in the world to cut. but i'm loving it so far
  21. tried a couple different restores aaaand...they error each time i do. acts like it completes, then says something happened and it didnt restore properly. ugh
  22. oh damn i was thinkin there was a restore setting. i'll see if i can restore it back far enough i suppose
  23. i was thinkin that...but damn that was a while ago. would putting in the vista disc and restoring it have the same effect? or no?
  24. eh...i posted this over on a COMPUTER forum and got nothin lol so maybe i'll get some help here for some reason, out of nowhere (not sure when) all the sounds (besides music/video) that come out of my PC, like if something updated, or if i'm printing something (says printing complete, or my virus protection has been updated for example), it sounds like...a staticy robot for lack of better terms. instead of each program having its own sounds and whatnot like they're supposed to, they all sound bad. it's usually pretty loud and annoying. i tried setting the windows sounds back to default to see if that would help, and it still acts up. i just installed a new printer the other day and it even does it when it starts printing. any ideas why? or how i can fix it?
