Well I have bought my first DC sub actully a lv5 18 motor& basket. Plan to order a recone for it soon. It will be run off a DD z1 @.5ohm 2 zs3100s and a 250 amp alt. Mostly want a bada** daily ground pounder but am going to bassrace 149.9 and db drag. Right now I am planning on 5.25 - 5.5^3net and 90 sqin port @38hz, would like to use areos thier much easer to swap for comps an daily use but don't know what to go with 6",8" how many not sure how to figure area for an areo any help would be appericated

This is one of the big reasons I'm going to use DC in my next rebuild already buying a lv5 motor an 18" basket and got a DD z1 just waiting on it

I am in the prosess of redoing my system it the s-10 and have been considering useing a downfire box. I am running a 3500 DD15 on an alphasonik pma 1000d at one ohm. I mostly listen to old rock and want more of an sq system but have good spl when I need it. Am also putting the new W6.5 woofers in the lower front doors am building the panels now. My question is does any of you have any dealings with the downfire and any suggestions?

Very nice job and congrats. Have been going to do a downfire in my s10 but watching this build my go with a wall and two 3515dds will let you know.
