    I've used knu klmx and stinger hpm, the klmx has a shitload more strands, but then you lose the flexibility. And stinger costs a shitload more. Knu ftw

    Just givin' you a hard time man, I completely understand first set ups. I'm 17 and this is my 2nd system. But are you sure you don't have the amp wired too low?

    Some ideas to cool it down? Toss it. First off it's a pos, second, your ohm load is probably too low, that stench you smell it's probably your amp. What's your set up?

    Haven't tried the 1510s but I'm soon going to upgrade to a 9515. So to the OP, if you get the 18, let me know how it runs.

    I think the 9518 is somewhere near 1g. Might be less tho. But IMHO, it's wayyyyy worth it. The 1508's I have are 200 a piece new, but they SLAM.

    Hide them under the box if you have room, but that 260 should do work.

    Fuckin sweet. 300 amp alt and 3-4 kinetic hc2400's. If you get those, I doubt you will have minimal if ANY voltage drop.

    DD says the 9518 has an 8000 watt max, yet I've seen people run 5500 on it daily. But it's gotta be CLEAN power. I'd say 3100 would be perfect.

    Go to the website and go to the dealer locator, it should find a shop that carries them near you. But I would look around for one that's used. Those things are built like a tank.

    Fosgate. It's under rated too, it'll probably push put 12-1300 at 1ohm. Plus the warranty is great.

    Have you checked how bad the songs you 'made' are clipping? Not saying they are, but it's always a good idea. I definately wouldn't play something in my car that's clipped to shit.
