    My brother blew the factory 6x8's in his 2009 Ford Fusion and i'll be replacing them with Kicker 11DS68's. Factroy speakers are 8 ohm, the Kickers are 4 ohm. Will the lower ohm load be bad on the factory deck? There is no factory amp.

    I would say get a brand new switch. Yours is aged and may trip easier than it should. I got the same switch but in the driver side kick. I tripped it once when I hit the panel into place, took hours to figure out why the car wouldn't start
