No, its not. Its "micro suede" or l synthetic suede" same as the rest. "real" suede is leather. If you arent buying alcantara you're wasting your money when it comes to synthetic suede.

If they have your pattern, yes. They dont fit as tight as an upholsterer can get with a good pattern, but they are cheap and decent.

YES to the weldwood. These guys know the drill! Great stuff. Can you elaborate on what materials you are using?

Uh... Factory doesnt have 1/4 inch. Its 1/16 or 1/8. Also.. Make sure you get closed cell foam. I REALLY wouldnt use anything related to spraycan glue on a headliner. Please consider spending more money and purchasing good glue.. I would personally use weldwood contact adhesive (made for landau tops)

If I had to pattern it as well (meaning it wasnt one of the 8000+ patterns I had on file) youd be looking at about 1000 ish.. Depending on materials.

Well, that REALLY depends on if you are wiling to pay for quality, or just want cheap sh*t.. If you want cheap garbage go ahead and buy this stuff: http://www.yourautotrim.com/noname34.html If you are willing to spend more on quality, get Alcantara . http://gulffabrics.com/alcanta.htm I would never get ANYTHING cheaper (in construction) than SenSuede.. and even that stuff is "bleh" honestly. I work with various suedes all day... HANDS DOWN Alcantara is the best.

I dont have any trouble.. then again, I work at an upholstery shop, LOL. Pictured is a dash we wrapped, in leather, but vinyl isnt a whole lot different.. Proper glue is VERY important. See if you can get a good contact adhesive, similar to what is used to glue down vinyl tops....

Did you use the same garbage parts pap used from the factory, or did you buy decent stuff for the recone?
