Setting the gain with a DMM doesn't mean your amp isn't clipping. The only way to truly tell is using an Oscope. Try backing the gain down a hair and see if it helps. -

Donate plasma. Probably 40-50 bucks a week for 2-3 hours of sitting there. I used to do it in high school -
Like fecupe said I think the lifetime warranty is only for competitors. Pretty sure it's 5 years for normal folk.

Hmm...well bass boost usually implies boosting the bass at a certain frequency (like 45 hz). Sub level is just an adjustment that lowers the voltage that the HU outputs through the RCAs. So, if by bass boost you actually mean its the subwoofer out level, then yes, you want it set high. The higher the voltage output from your HU, the lower you can set your gain on the amp. If it's an actual bass boost you don't want to use it because it will introduce clipping. For example, my Pioneer has a sub level, and also has a bass level, which is a bass boost. I have that all the way down. You also want to turn "Loud" off.

SUNDOWN SA8 QUESTIONSSSSS
R_Mac_1 replied to tumminellon's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
.75 sealed is pretty big. That's about the recommended ported size. For sealed he recommends .3 cubes I think. -
Take a sawzall and cut some holes in your roof and doors. Or you could just keep the sound inside the car where it belongs.
