The one thing I hate most about scene is releases have to be rarred. If something is nuked for dumb shit, I dl it anyway. I remember the only CAM I ever downloaded and watched was Snakes on a plane, and there people walking past and coughing every fucking 5 minutes.

True. I'm just used to "scene vocab" where cam = CAM. haha

TS and CAM are different. A CAM is literally what it sounds like. Someone took a camera into a theater, used default settings, a tripod, and let the regular movie audio be recorded. A TS is also a camera, but one who's settings and shutter speed are set according to different variables, resulting a better picture, then they have LINE audio, which is usually a FM transmitted signal that movie theaters set up for hearing impaired people. How I judge quality between the two: Cam: Video- ~2/10 Audio- ~2/10 TS: Video- ~4/10 Audio- ~5/10

I'm pretty sure this particular DVDSCR was actually an R5. It was damn clear video with no watermarks, which makes me believe it was an R5. And you watched a CAM? Fuck that shit, I can't deal with those. They lowest I go is TS, and that's only if the movie is like "I kinda want to see it." but anything that's supposed to be crazy badass, I wait for at least an R5

If you're talking about the DVDSCR, that's what I watched, and it was horrible audio quality. It was DVD video quality, but the audio was CAM audio. I wish I saw it theaters.

Anyone seen this? I just finished watching it, and was very impressed by it. It's the last movie Heath Ledger was in before his death. In fact, he died in the middle of filming. The movie involved Ledger's character traveling through a mirror to other worlds. They had filmed all of the 'real' world scenes before he died, leaving only the alternate worlds to film. Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell play Ledger's role (Tony) in the alternate worlds. I highly recommend this movie.

So, I've seen a few posts from people showing their desktops, might as well show mine. Hmm, where to start... Ok, since I don't know where to start, I'll just jump in. On the left, HP Pavilion dv2945se entertainment laptop, used for internet, editing video, doing whatever. On the right, HP Mini netbook, used for music, plugged straight into the Ibanez shit bass amp on the floor. Under the netbook, LG external disk drive, since the netbook lacks one, and the Pavilion's is broke. My "chair" is the edge of my bed. (I have an alternate setup that includes an actual desk for doing work, but it's a little dirty right now, I'll clean it later.) Now onto the fun part. If you notice, the "desk" under my laptops is not really a "desk," but a DJ Hero case/stand, which brings me to this picture. 32" Vizio 1080p Top Shelf: Xbox 360 Elite. Middle Shelf: PS3. Bottom Shelf: This is where the netbook goes when not in use, or when hooked to the 360 via ethernet for Xbox Live. Also where the HP Pavilion sits when hooked up to the TV via VGA cable for watching movies. Table: Comcast HD Cable Box. Anyway. Yeah. That's my setup in my room. I'll update with my actually "desk" desktop when I get it clean. I obviously don't get much work done...
