i used to have a 92, you need the drop ibeams...i have a 97 now with torsion bars, sooooo much easier. the rear of your explorer you can just use lowering blocks. or put a really heavy system in the back LOL

how can i get past this, to log into windows (vista)? what i really want to do is install XP, but its not letting me... i boot from my xp pro cd, gets to the part that says -to set up windows xp now press enter -repair press R etc. i press enter, and it says setup did not find any hard disk drivers installed in your computer. make sure any hard disk drivers are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that any disck related hardware configuration is correct. this may involve running a manf. supplied diag or setup program. setup cant continue, press f3 to quit setup. wtf

i have the viper 791xv on my explorer and ive always liked it...i also had bought a compustar for it way back (years ago) on ebay, supposedly new, from some store that sold compustar alarms...it ended up being bad, so thats why im kinda leaning away from compustar, but i do know lots of people that like them. i might try them out again. the 791xv is like 200 new..should i just stick with that? i might not even get the 791xv, unless i want the remote start...i have a manual (mini cooper) do you think i should risk doing remote start, or not? anyone running manual's with remote starts? also, my wiring diagram for the MINI says i need this bypass unit: "791 Bypass Module" is that just a generic bypass module that can be had anywhere online? any brand i should look into getting for that bypass? this is what it all says, what else would i need? MINI'S TRANSPONDER ANTI-THEFT System, Requires 791 Bypass Module and extra Programmed Ignition Key thanks!

ok, so i was about to order a pioneer AVIC-D3 for the mini...6.1" screen, dvd/cd/ipod control, navigation. 700 shipped. so i said F it, why not do a computer? so i ordered this screen for starters. 10.4" vga touchscreen, 213 shipped http://www.gooddeals18.com/product/SHK1040 i did my research on this monitor, and everyone that has it, they took it apart to mount the bare LCD in their dash, and they all say this unit, made by Shark, is actually a Samsung LCD panel! so thats that lets talk about the actual PC. i thought about a Mac Mini, would by far be easiest to do. 80gb is like 600 bux i think. its 6.5" x 6.5" x 2" only downside is- only has 3.5mm audio out, as do most mother boards. will this sound like crap? im basically going to keep my Head unit, for the preouts and volume control, as well as an EQ, and 3 way crossover. so what im going to do is go audio out from PC, to the red/white AUX input on my HU. HU will always stay on AUX mode. will it sound bad if i go 3.5mm out from PC, to red/white aux in on HU? (i had my ipod hooked up that way, didnt soudn bad IMO) dont know how the PC would react though. or, i can build a PC. problem there, is space. ideas? at this point, im mainly concerned about the audio out thing. i wanna figure that out.

ok heres the deal. i have a dell inspiron 5100 laptop. like 6 months ago, for whatever reason, the picture goes out. i try and hook it to an external monitor, nothing on that. it does turn on though. ive since, built a new desktop. really i dont care about the laptop nor the data on the hard drive, but i would like to see what i had on that hard drive (mostly songs, etc) and just get them to my new PC. well i have the laptop hard drive hooked to my pc via a 2.5" ide adapter wire, my computer sees the drive as Drive E. i can click it, it shows docs & settings, program files, WINDOWS folder, etc. problem is, i cant access the stuff i want. i simply had folders with all my songs/pics/files in them, on the desktop. i go into docs and settings on Drive E, and click my user name folder, but it wont let me get in it. is it becuase my user profile on the laptop is password protected? is there ANY way to get this info? ive searched, nothing comes up..becuase its all under my user folder, which wont let me access it, becuase its read only, becuase its password protected, im assuming. what can i do? is there any way i can boot from this, or no, becuase it has the drivers from the dell installed? any help is greatly appreciated.

ya see thats what im thinking. i wont always use the navi, but itll be nice to have, for when i actually need it, which sometimes i wish i had navi LOL. the z2 is outta the question, its nice, but more than im looking to spend one plus about the D3, IMO, is the volume KNOB, vs the buttons on the 6000. also, the D3 is able to change the color of the buttons led's. the 6000 is blue. my dash lights are all amber. the 6000 with blue lights i think would look weird.
